Speedy deletion of Studio building
[edit]A tag has been placed on Studio building, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a1.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Blair - Speak to me 23:40, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Duplicate images uploaded
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:IM001303a.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:IM001303a.JPG. The copy called Image:IM001303a.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 13:15, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for uploading this image. However, I don't want to see it deleted, and it will be deleted at some point unless you provide an appropriate license for the image. It is insufficient to simply put "I took this picture myself" -- you also need to insert a license tag that indicates that you have allowed the free use of the image. See WP:ICTIC for information on appropriate licenses. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Best regards, --Skeezix1000 (talk) 14:03, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hi. I hate to nag, but you need to add a license tag to the image description page for this image. All images uploaded to Wikipedia need to be appropriately licensed. Otherwise, the image will be deleted - which would be a shame, because Wikipedia would lose an image of an important Toronto heritage building. You can add a tag such as {{GFDL-self}} or {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} -- see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for more information on the tags you can use. This is a very simple request, and one that first brought to your attention in September 2007. Again, I welcome you to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions or require assistance. Regards. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 14:10, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- I hope that I have been some help. Just adding text such as {{GFDL-self}} or {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} to the image will prevent it from being deleted. And I am looking forward to you uploading a new image as well. Best regards, --Skeezix1000 (talk) 12:51, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- I am sorry, but I have tagged this image for speedy deletion. You were first advised in September 2007 that this image was not licensed, and I have been practically begging you since February 1 of this year to add an appropriate license. You left a note on my talk page on March 3 indicating that you would add the required license, but a month and a half later you have yet to do so. After almost two years of this image being without a license, I can only assume at this point that you do not seem to have any intent of ever freely licensing this image in accordance with Wikipedia's requirements. What a shame. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 13:52, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
