Hello and welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for writing Cello Concerto No. 1 (Glass). It's really a good new article, especially from a brand new user. One thing to be aware of though: Wikipedia strives for articles to be referenced as much as possible, so that others can verify information and to provide resources for further reading. The article you created currently has no footnotes. There's a good guide to adding citations (I know the syntax can be a little tricky to learn) at WP:REFB. You can also use the "cite" toolbar that shows up in the editing window to help format citations.
Also, you might find WP:WikiProject Classical music of interest, as it is the main community point for editors interested in classical music articles on Wikipedia. On that page you can find lists of articles that need improvement or creation, and you can use Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Classical music to reach experienced editors in this area if you want to raise a question or issue for discussion. Feel free to let me know if I can help with citations or anything else, and again, welcome to Wikipedia! Zachlipton (talk) 05:32, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Dylan Thomas. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 17:44, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Concerto Fantasy for Two Timpanists and Orchestra, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Climax (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Symphony No. 1 (Dohnányi) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No independent refs or evidence of notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stuartyeates (talk) 11:18, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Muddle Instead of Music, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Russian, Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District and Eyewitness. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
