Currently there is a discussion on the talk page on this, which you have not weighed in on. As yet, there are two editors (myself and @Gareth McCaughan:) who have indicated that we find the links "somewhat relevant", and one editor, Mosi Nuru, who thinks they should be removed. Even if you add your two cents there, it's still a standoff on whether those two links should be excluded. So don't you think you should state your opinion there and wait to see which way consensus falls before removing the links? Skyerise (talk) 16:34, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pinging me - just chimed in re: human rights. Sorry I missed that discussion Superb Owl (talk) 16:39, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. That talk page was way too long to keep up with everything, though it's a little better now. Skyerise (talk) 16:46, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just adding onto this because its on the same page & very minor. I'm fine with your most recent edits to the lede on Project 2025, but there needs to be some descriptor of what the project is. It doesn't have to be "proposed plan" but there needs to be SOME noun lol. It can be anything, just letting you know. Just10A (talk) 23:18, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As I said in my edit comment, I am totally fine with project being used - will add that in for now Superb Owl (talk) 23:19, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know, 2024 United States presidential election is on 1RR. I am not sure how to classify your edits, but you changed {{Further}} three times in the Economic issues section: Diff/1237872671, Diff/1237923386, Diff/1238019802. Just giving you a heads up to be cautious when editing the article. --Super Goku V (talk) 19:21, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Did not realize that was 1RR (or that 1RR was a thing) - thank you for the heads-up! Superb Owl (talk) 19:51, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it *might* be 1RR. Personally, I am not fully sure if it counts as a revert since while each edit was to the same part, all three were different from each other. But I figures I should give a heads-up to be safe. Sorry for any trouble and hope you have a good day. --Super Goku V (talk) 05:31, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries and I really appreciate the heads-up regardless Superb Owl (talk) 14:46, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

UE theory Page

[edit]

For some reason the "thank" button wasn't available for your latest edit on unitary executive theory page, but great job. That sentence is a perfect, all-encapsulating statement. Well done. Just10A (talk) 04:21, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad you think it reads better - maybe it takes stepping away for a bit and coming back fresh. Either way, thanks for working with me on it and sticking with it. It's an important topic and hopefully it's an easier read now Superb Owl (talk) 04:34, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have access to the Economist source provided. Did the author provide a similar prospectus for Biden? I would be curious how they compare. BD2412 T 20:56, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, he did. Here is the quote: They have not yet fully pronounced on the matter this time around. But Dr Olshansky stated on January 7th, in an article in the Hill, a Washington-based newspaper, that, “Today his [Mr Biden’s] chances of surviving through a second term in office are close to 75% (about 10% better survival than for an average man his age). Similar, although slightly less favourable survival prospects are present for Trump.” Superb Owl (talk) 21:15, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting. I would suggest adding that to our parallel article, Age and health concerns about Joe Biden. Cheers! BD2412 T 22:24, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
will do, thanks! Superb Owl (talk) 22:27, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
