[edit]Attack
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on this page, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because the article is a page created primarily to disparage its subject or a biography of a living person that is controversial in tone and unsourced, where there is no neutral point of view version in the history to revert to. (CSD G10).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting the article, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate the article itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. CSDWarnBot (talk) 01:20, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Justin Meldal-Johnsen (diff). Your edit appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Skarebo (talk) 01:33, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Original research
[edit]Before you continue editing, particularly on How To Destroy Angels (band), I suggest you read Wikipedia's policies on original research, verifiability and reliable sources. Articles should only reflect that which is found in reliable sources, such as news articles. Adding text that's not directly attributable, such as referring to Reznor's wife as Maandig-Reznor, is considered original research and is therefore unacceptable. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 02:16, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, and by the way, I have the capacity to read Twitter. I don't appreciate being called a douchetruck. See WP:NPA. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 18:31, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:HTDAphysical.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:HTDAphysical.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. feydey (talk) 16:43, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but I had to remove your Proposed Deletion tag. It is my duty to warn you about the rabid royalists at Wikipedia. Deletion of any article about royalty, especially of the British House of Windsor, sparks debates at WP:AfD, and can go any way, see WP:OUTCOMES. Royalty are not per se notable, but depending on their place in succession, they are sometimes considered notable even at birth. Any proposed deletion is supposed to be non-controversial, and this one is not surely so. Bearian (talk) 19:21, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
