However, it would be nice if you could give some kind of indication as to what license the media is under. That way other people can be confident in making use of it for many varied purposes :)

Adding license information also helps prevent media you've put effort into creating from being deleted :)

I created this image from chemical drawing software myself. I am not really sure about all this "licensing" jargon, it is just plain confusing to me. I hope no one takes down this image, it is a good image.

Hey, I wanted to make this page because right now the links which are live in wikipedia for the enzyme "orotate phosphoribosyl transferase" redirect to "orotate 5'-monophosphate decarboxylase". I am editing that particular page right now to expand it from a stub to more of a full article and the fact that wikipedia treats those enzymes as the same enzyme is factually incorrect. I just wanted to start a page for orotate phosphoribosyl transferase so that this redirect would no longer exist and the information about these pyrimidine biosynthetic enzymes would be more correct.

I understand that this might be confusing to someone not familiar with the biochemistry of nucleic acids, but the important thing to understand here is that there are three enzymes (which are distinct) that exist in different classes of organisms. Higher organisms have an enzyme called "UMP synthase" which is bifunctional, it catalyzes the reactions of both orotate 5'-monophosphate decarboxylase and orotate phosphoribosyl transferase. In simpler organisms, notably E coli and S cerevisiae, these two steps are encoded by separate enzymes. Right now there are wiki articles for orotate 5'-monophosphate decarboxylase and UMP synthase, but a search for orotate phosphoribosyl transferase redirects to the orotate 5'-monophospate decarboxylase article, which is just plain wrong.
