Your edit to a.o. Cholesterol
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, one or more of the external links you added to the page Cholesterol do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:50, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Identity theft. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:01, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Cholesterol, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from all of Wikipedia. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:06, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Forgot to check: If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Diet (nutrition), you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:09, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- I have reported the link to our wikiproject on spam here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Spam#ehow. You can explain your link-additions there. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:13, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
WHO CARES! YOU JUST OWN A ZENITH OF THIS CYBERSPACE. STAY IN YOUR CORNER. IT MAKES ME LAUGH WHEN YOU WARN AGAINST THINGS (WITH ALL YOUR STOP
AND YEILD SIGNS). I HAD NO INTENSIONS OF SPAMMING YOUR SITE. I EVEN DONT KNOW THIS SITE VERY WELL. HERE IS A GOOD ONE: ‘This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits’.........‘The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Cholesterol, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia'. CAN YOU GO FURTHER THAN THAT? LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE DYING TO SAY, 'YOU ARE FIRED’. KNOW YOUR LIMITS YOU SHOULD BE BEGGING FOR USERS FOR YOUR SITE.
