Help me. The article I created formerly 'Highest Currencies in the World', does not have similiar information to respective article 'Exchange Rate'. Highest Currencies in the World contains information such as how the Great Britain Pound Sterling's value has historically changed over time, and so forth. My article also contains news about how the 'Brexit' vote is affecting the exchange rate of Great Britain Pound Sterling, whereas this information does not consist in 'Exchange Rate'.

I hope you take my concern into consideration.

You just nominated a high-quality, featured article for speedy deletion for the reason "...This article is too outdated. It shows a number of opinions, not facts. Many people from the nation itself are against the information provided in this article...". The article in question, India, was created by hundreds of editors making a total of 22,676 edits over fifteen years, and is supported by 350 quality references and a lengthy bibliography.

I hate to say this, but I am not sure you are competent enough to edit here. You have started six articles, almost all deleted or redirected. You have copy pasted content. You have deleted page content accidentally. In fact, I am having a hard time finding any constructive edits in the forty you have made so far. Despondently, I'm finding it very difficult creating or editing an article on Wikipedia. It seems like I just can't make an article that meets the standard of Wikipedia. I have deleted Law of Jordan. It was copy pasted from pages at www.kinghussein.gov.jo and that site says: this. The content is copyright protected.

So, I am sorry to say this, but any future edits you make must be under my guidance, period. Really, I am sorry, but you are having trouble making constructive edits and administrators at Wikipedia can not tolerate any more copyright violations from you or we would be derelict in our duty.

Hi Shaanveer khanna. We may copy small amounts of text (a couple sentences) with proper attribution if a quote is absolutely necessary. Copying large amounts of text and just sticking quote marks around them is still a copyright violation. (edit conflict)This is mainly a suggestion for Anna Frodesiak: I think this user should be prevented from discussing or nominating for any speedy or other deletions for a few months; during this time any new article creations should also be within their own sandbox so that it can be verified before heading elsewhere. I jsut had to revdel more copyvio from Pakistan. I also see that The Invisible Hero which is now redirected is also copyvio, I haven't been able to find the sources for all of it, just one paragraph which is taken from Penguin's book promo note, but I have no doubt that the rest of it is taken from somewhere else too. Shaanveer khanna, articles are not deleted because they have little information, but usually because they are not notable. Apology

I have been told that Article 7 of Jordan's copyright protection law of 1992 says that "Laws, regulations, judicial decisions, etc, are not subject to copyright protection.[1] So, I am sorry that I accused you of copyright violations. I was wrong. I saw the sources as the King of Jordan's website and figured that was where it originated. I always thought that the king makes the laws in such countries.

Anyway, I do not think an article that comprises mainly a giant copy paste of the law is a viable article. Encyclopedia articles should be more than just that, and can link to websites that post the law.

Shaanveer, you will probably find it hard to add anything to India because it is such a well developed article. What about another article or subject? Also, please read WP:RS. But commons sense works well too. Look at the website and ask yourself how credible it is. Is it a government site? An academic site? Is it just a site put together by someone as a hobby? A possible way forward

I invite all those who spent time on this matter to give feedback on the following suggestion. Pinging:

Considering keystrokes and reads, this whole thing cost hours of resources. I would like to see Wikipedia recover that.

Before being blocked, Shaanveer agreed to edit under strict guidance. What if we all agreed -- Shaanveer too -- on a very, very limited editing area to establish trust and demonstrate competence?

Suggestions are welcome of course, but I am thinking of something rather tedious and repetetive like the following:

Shaanveer goes to an article with no source.
He pastes the title into Google News.
He finds a major newspaper that discusses the subject.
He adds the source as a single reference to the article.
He removes the "unsourced" template.

That's it. After some time or a number of items done (I am thinking of over one hundred) we can take it from there and discuss other sorts of editing areas. If he cannot manage this task, or deviates, his time at Wikipedia will come to an end. If he does this well, it is a win-win situation. I, or others, would monitor his progress.

A quick perusal of this talk page alone shows eight or nine warnings about copyright violations. However, I think it needs to be made very clear that this is a last chance, and they need to heed every bit of advice that comes in from other editors. I am thinking, at the start, he could find a simple reference for a non-living person that basically says the subject existed, and allow the no source template to be removed. News sites may not be so good if the person died a long time ago. So, for long-dead people, Shaanveer could search by adding "site:edu" after the term. That doesn't sound too hard and I could test him on it.
