Your Sage Golf Group Worldwide article was deleted because it was written like an advert. The group website was the first word instead of a reference at the end, and the article was littered with unsourced promotional phrases, eg: an upscale golf management company or the finest and most innovative luxury brand operators in the club industry or history of excellence in marketing and operations were unsurpassed or The TPC operating group set the standard for quality club operations in America. I could go on, but you should see what I mean, the language is that of an advertising brochure, not an encyclopaedia.

You should make sure that you article has independent verifiable sources to support any claims you make and to demonstrate that SGGW meets the notability guidelines.

Also remember not to use any copyright material, including from your own website, unless the website makes it clear that the text is released under the GFDL licence.

I hope this helps, Jimfbleak. Talk to me.05:59, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Sage Golf Group Worldwide, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Chris 20:21, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
