Potential issues
[edit]Hi, @ServeAduke! I was looking through the Technology discussion boards and noticed a request to review your article, so I took a look. I saw that your draft was denied by AFC, and that you were confused as to why. You've clearly made a significant effort to prevent your COI from interfering, and I really appreciate that. However, there are a couple of issues that I'd like to make you aware of. The first problem is that reading the article alone indicates that the company hasn't really done much in the public eye. Although there is significant news coverage of the company, the majority of your article focuses on financial aspects and mergers, not the actual robots themselves. While you may have thought that this would help avoid COI issues, it unfortunately doesn't establish notability. Almost every company has financial data available to pull from, but that alone doesn't make it notable. You need to focus more on the deployment and public opinion of the robots to get this to meet Wikipedia standards.
The second issue is redundancy. A lot of the History and Operations sections overlap, which makes for both a frustrating reading experience as well as causing Wikipedia:DUE issues. Make sure you only repeat information when absolutely necessary. Typically, statements are only repeated for clarity, and only in especially long articles.
I'd be happy to help with any of these issues. Please note that I'm a relatively new user myself, so I may not be the most accurate in my policy knowledge. When in doubt, reach out to the Teahouse. This article is off to a good start, and should be ready in no time with a bit of help from some more experienced editors. JarJarInks (talk) 16:09, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
