British Columbia Highway Shields

[edit]

Please do not add BC highway shields to Any article except the article they represent. They are copyrighted and under WP:FUC they cannot be placed on other articles besides the ones they represent. Thank you,  — master sonT - C 04:12, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The same is true for Manitoba shields - or any shield that is copyrighted - please verify copyright status before using the shields outside of their home articles. — master sonT - C 04:16, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I had observed a few other "list of" type articles that had those particular shields in their articles, and simply thought I should add them to the highway articles. I will remove them asap. There are still quite a few Manitoba shields that I did not add to these articles, I will check copyright status and remove if necessary. Sorry for the inconvience. -SeriousKarma (talk) 04:27, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Photo request in Arlington Heights: Japanese School

[edit]

Do you take pictures for Wikipedia? Is Arlington Heights convenient your location? If so, are you interested in photographing the Chicago Futabakai Japanese School? I am interested in having a photo of this school for its Wikipedia article.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
