- I thought I'd explain why this has come up at ANI. While it is very sweet that you want to give thanks to people for various edits, you should not open an account for the sole purpose of giving thanks to random people on Wikipedia. It's fine if you want to thank people, but thanking people randomly for seemingly small or inconsequential edits while having no edit history of your own can give off the impression that your account was opened just for fun. It can also have the potentially unwanted consequence of making your thanks seem inconsequential or even potentially disruptive, as "thanks" show up as an alert in the same field/tab as other alerts (some of which can be for very major edits or reversions). I would probably recommend that if you have another, earlier account on Wikipedia (that you have edited under) that you give these thanks through that account while also making various beneficial edits to Wikipedia. If you do not have an account, then feel free to start making these edits with this account. I would, however, recommend that you make a comment at the ANI discussion or here on your talk page where you kind of give a bit of an explanation and/or state how you will better utilize your account. Again, this is very sweet of you but thanks without having an edit history or some sort of explanation does kind of make the account seem like it was only opened for a bit of fun. Because of this you do run the risk of getting blocked if you don't respond, as it could just be seen as a random "for the fun" account that isn't here to positively contribute to Wikipedia through editing. Blocked
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:40, 17 January 2015 (UTC)- Upon receiving more information, I've blocked you because it looks like you are a likely sock of User:Mr Wiki Pro. If this is the same person, please be aware that evading your block can lead to your IP range getting blocked if you continue to try to create sockpuppets. If this isn't the same person, you can contest your block on your talk page by stating how you will positively contribute to Wikipedia if you are unblocked. You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mr Wiki Pro. Thank you.
