Welcome to Wikipedia. Much of your earlier editing seemed to focus on alteration of numbers for subjects where it would have seemed certain digits should have been fixed. I speak of stadium capacities that you have amended in addition to certain years you have inserted in the middle of some lists. I would have assumed that if your information were correct, the original author should have been familiar with these details. It was for that reason that I made a set of reverts against your edits. Sometimes it can be hard to identify good faith editing from sneaky vandalism. In your case, I cannot be certain but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt for the time being. If you are genuine in these changes of digits, please atleast use the summary to explain your reasoning for your edits, atleast that way, reent change patrollers may be less inclined to revert your works, especially if it was all intended in good faith. Thanks. User:Evlekis (Евлекис) 11:51, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your adive and trust. Sercangs (talk) 13:43, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading this media,

However, it would be nice if you could give some kind of indication as to what license the media is under. That way other people can be confident in making use of it for many varied purposes :)

Adding license information also helps prevent media you've put effort into creating from being deleted :)

You may wish to read Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags#For_image_creators which will assist you :) Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:44, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:GalatasarayKitHistory10.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 14:39, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your efforts on Turkish Cup article. Have a nice day! — Ekin(talk·@) 13:04, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you might be right about the flags, and I am not stubborn about them. Also, maybe a task force member from Wikipedia:WikiProject Football might land on the page one day, and leave a warning about flags. Although I humbly think the club flags make the page look richer and colourful, easier to follow match winners in tables. En.wiki does not have many football tables with flags, but de.wiki and it.wiki have all adopted this kind of flag usage. — Ekin(talk·@) 13:40, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You are right about three different trophy designs. I can't seem to find the first one on the internet. Thought I was able to spot the second design. Here it is. Also the current design is easier to find on the internet. Here is an example. Surely, there are better versions of those images on the internet, though. — Ekin(talk·@) 14:20, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've found another link here that shows all three trophy designs. In fact, the first image I've linked was the original trophy design, not the second one. Seems like the image you've found was the second design. And the current design is the third one. Maybe I should visit a team's museum and photograph them as I live in Istanbul. Have a nice day! — Ekin(talk·@) 15:37, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm really sorry to delete all your hard work but competititve matches aren't included because they don't mean anything. They just aren't important and some can be reserve or youth matches. The only exception is the Glasgow Cup which was a competitive tournament but only a regional one so is not normally included. Adam4267 (talk) 15:04, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 1944–45 Galatasaray S.K. season, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 1943–44 Galatasaray S.K. season. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 11:50, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, dear friend! I have seen your talk page edit on Template:Turkish Cup. The reason for using Turkish Cup instead of Türkiye Kupası is, I believe because of the common name policy of Wikipedia WP:UCN. Wikipedians use common names instead of official names. In a nutshell, what they are trying to say is; Copa del Rey or Serie A are worldwide known 'brands', not only football tournaments. So, we must use their original names instead of English translations. On the other hand, Turkish Cup is just a mere Turkish competition, known only in Turkey and the rest of the world does not pay much attention. So it should be referred to in English. I believe in the future, if Turkish football is in better hands and we accomplish international success, Türkiye Kupası will be known and watched internationally. That'll be the day to rename articles I suppose. (By the way, if it was my decision, the titles would all be Türkiye Kupası like in Süper Lig. So what I'm trying to say is I feel for you. Have a nice day :) — Ekin(talk·@) 13:11, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Selamlar, şu an skype'da değilim o yüzden buraya yazayım dedim, hocam baktım ufak bir-iki hatamı (copy-paste kaynaklı olmuş) düzeltmişsiniz sağolun 93-94 sezonunda :) Ben dün ve bugün ufaktan başladım, 8 maç ekledim ligde gördüğünüz gibi, diğerlerini de en kısa zamanda ekleyip bitireceğim orayı. Aozm (talk) 13:20, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Aozm (talk) 13:09, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Devam edebilirim ama vakit sıkıntısı olabilir, tek sorun o. Eğer geç kalabilme ihtimali bir sorun yaratmazsa ben devam ederim haftaya diğer sezonlardan da, duruma göre bana şu sezon eksik dersin yaparım? Aozm (talk) 15:20, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tamamdır ben 1.lig maçlarından devam ederim, kolay gelsin tekrar :) Aozm (talk) 16:39, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Kişisel gözlemlerim bunlar sadece.--Rapsar (talk) 10:18, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced Editing

[edit]

Please stop editing Wikipedia pages such as 1963–64 Galatasaray S.K. season and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium with unsourced facts. They contain very bad grammar and it seems you clearly have no knowledge of the pages you edit. feedtheducks (talk) 20:38, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

[edit]

Your knowledge is deeply admired however, it is your personal knowledge, whether it is correct or not. (It's Not.) You are relying on an external source and on the Real Madrid official Wikipedia page, the current stated capacity is that of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. I doubt you will understand this but I accept my gratitude as I am not a native speaker of Turkish. Please stop just editing pages for fun. I have much better knowledge and experience and no doubt, better at handling situations like these. May I demand for you not to rectify and required pages such as Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, because you are wrong. It might be like than in Turkey, but not here. Thanks. (You can use Google Translate if you DON'T understand) - I doubt you will even understand that anyway. Lol. feedtheducks (talk) 22:47, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

I too, as well as fellow Wikipedians, have noticed several accounts of vandalism and it is my sole duty to prevent you from damaging Wikipedia. You have a record of vandalism on Wikipedia and I am not surprised that this KUSAGI guy is contributing to Wikipedia in a moral way. Please do not just edit pages (very poorly anyway...) and refrain from reoffending. I look at even just your talk page and many errors even like Cluebot have to tweak your editing because it is so bad. Please do not vandalise Wikipedia. Poor, unimpressive, nebbish, weak and pure sub-par editing. I just want to help you to be honest, to stop this vandalism as it is not funny. feedtheducks (talk) 22:53, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Your recent editing history at Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray rivalry shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Akocsg (talk) 18:03, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Turkish football champions

[edit]

I saw that you are working on a new format for the list of Turkish champions in your sandbox. Putting all competitions in just one table is way too messy, problematic, and unclear. I have already updated the article. Have a look. Only the managers for the former championships are missing, you can add them if you want. But I would only do that if there is enough informaton. It looks bad if there are too many "unknowns". Akocsg (talk) 12:21, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly i've just tried it and imo it looks better. No so complicated and shows that all missing and paralel seasons 1886kusagi (talk) 19:37, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There is a reason that in all similar articles the various competitions are in seperate tables. Especially the Turkish Championship and National Division are too different and took place in different years (National Division started 12 years later and ended 1 year earlier), so your table is way too big and messy. About the parallel thing, it was already done by me. The articles have to be adjusted to a certain common standard, at least to a certain extent...

You can spare all that work. Just add the managers, if you can find information about them. Akocsg (talk) 21:36, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Trophy Süper Lig

Do you have any pictures of the former Süper Lig trophies? I think since 1959 there have been 4-5 different designs. Have you ever find any informations about the trophie? Weihht, height etc. 1886kusagi (talk) 12:44, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No unfortunately I have no idea about those data. What do you need them for? Akocsg (talk) 12:55, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You asked me about the early Süper Lig trophies. I found a website where one is depicted. See here. It's the one in 1959. I don't know if this helps, but it should be possible to find pictures where just the trophy is depicted. Akocsg (talk) 17:26, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I wanted to inform you that there are now two pictures of the trophy from 1959. See here. They are not perfect though, since the bottom part of the trophy is hidden by an info card. Btw, in my opinion it is the most "dandik" and smallest trophy of all four national championships, lol. Regards, Akocsg (talk) 22:57, 24 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
