December 2024
[edit]Hello, I'm Firestar464. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tell Rifaat, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. See WP:AAPOLITICS. Firestar464 (talk) 18:55, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- No need, the change is still there with other sources :) Sentbuddy02 (talk) 15:19, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
Levantine Arabic Wikipedia
[edit]Hi @Sentbuddy02, I noticed you are a native Levantine Arabic speaker. Would you be interested in contributing to the incubator project for the Levantine Arabic Wikipedia? The project really needs more contributors who speak the language. Even a small amount of edits each month would make a big difference. Thanks. TheJoyfulTentmaker (talk) 02:03, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- @TheJoyfulTentmaker how can I help? Sentbuddy02 (talk) 16:55, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Basically it is a version of Wikipedia in Levantine Arabic, i.e. Syrian Dialect and its variations. @HitomiAkane and @FunLater are native speakers and they are contributing to the project. I am learning the language, so mostly helping with finding more contributors and other stuff that does not require language proficiency. We need to build a community, so it would be great if you could just edit pages there, add pages, translate pages, make comments in the discussion pages... Anything you enjoy doing, just like in here, whenever you want. Here is a brief introduction to the project in English, and includes a link to our Discord server. If there is any chance, it would be really helpful if you could join the Discord, so we can have discussions there as well. After the test project proves that there is consistent activity there, the project will launch in its own domain, most likely

. Please let me know if you have any questions! TheJoyfulTentmaker (talk) 01:18, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
