June 2023

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Mark Heeley article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 14:03, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I saw it on TV. The match was shown today. So there is no source that I can quote. Senorsmoke9977553311 (talk) 16:22, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Sandymount Railway Station.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sandymount Railway Station.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:30, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources

[edit]

Hi. As noted by @GiantSnowman above, and in my related edit summaries in the Lansdowne Road railway station article, it is a core tenet of the project that content changes/additions must be based on reliable and verifiable sources. A vague edit summary statement, that "I'm Irish Rail staff", is not verifiable. Nor, FYI, does it meet the expectations of WP:IS. For context on this, please consider reading the explanatory WP:BUTITSTRUE essay. Guliolopez (talk) 15:48, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Gulio, get a life. You want a reliable source? There is a member of staff there 3 days a week. Go have a look. Senorsmoke9977553311 (talk) 16:12, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. Please (re)read WP:ETIQ and WP:BURDEN. If these simple project norms are beyond you, then consider whether you're in the right place. Guliolopez (talk) 16:15, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see you like deleting other people's edits as well. You're a bully. Now fuck off. If that's too complicated for you then maybe you should see if you're in the right place. Senorsmoke9977553311 (talk) 16:20, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:No personal attacks - attacks such as the one above, and the message you left elsewhere, will likely lead to your being blocked. KJP1 (talk) 16:25, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
