Larry Goldings biography
[edit]I reverted your edits and note your comments in the summary. So a bit of explanatory background. Firstly there is the Wikipedia policy on editing conflict of interest. Even if the text from Mr Goldings' website was fully released (and there are procedures for that, as proof is needed that an editor does in fact have personal rights on a text), is it appropriate for an encyclopaedia? An artist's own site often contains superlatives - as indeed does this text - and a particular tone that don't belong here. So better, in my opinion for the article to contain an External Link to the personal site where the reader can access the official biography. And lastly, there is the policy on referencing biographies of living people which should be maintained, expanded but not just deleted. AllyD (talk) 20:33, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
- One other thing is that the article as it stands contains that "Hans Groiner" material. I don't know its status but it should probably be either be referenced or deleted. AllyD (talk) 20:38, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
