Request reason:
I am a social studies teacher at the American School in Japan. My students and I have been doing research on various immigrant groups and I had them all edit a section of the Wikipedia site as way to contribute some of what they learned. We all have similar email addresses, but I don't see why you should block us for that. You should be encouraging students to contribute. Did you find anything that was not legitimate? Please reinstate our accounts.Seblodgett (talk) 4:54 pm, Yesterday (UTC−4)
Accept reason:
All of your students' accounts have been unblocked. In the future, please have your students post a note indicating they are participating in a class project, as this will help avoid confusion in the future. TNXMan 13:23, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
- We heartily encourage editors. Teachers are directed to WP:SUP for guidance on school projects. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 21:15, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) I've left a note with the admin that blocked all the accounts. We'll get this sorted out shortly. —DoRD (talk) 21:17, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
While you claim that the issue has been fixed, all of the work done by my students is still erased. Is there any way to make their previous work active?
