Question from Mr Teen International (08:55, 20 January 2024)
how do i make my own information page --Mr Teen International (talk) 08:55, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Mr Teen International Please note that WIkiepdia is not a webhost nor a place to post your resume. Your user page may have some biographical information and Wikimedia related content but is not for self promotion and is not for telling the world about yourself or cause. v/r - Seawolf35 T--C 00:46, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
Question from Andrea Mattrix (14:34, 21 January 2024)
Hello,
What project as a Wikipedia writer do you recommend I start with first?
Thanks, Andrea --Andrea Mattrix (talk) 14:34, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Andrea Mattrix! I would recommend you start with some easy things like fixing typos and generally uncontroversial things. You can get some ideas at the task center!. Best, v/r - Seawolf35 T--C 00:47, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
Question from Kritikabatraa (13:23, 22 January 2024)
Hi! I want to make a Wikipedia page for my organization. The content is not promotional, it is just to inform what the company does and the sources cited are from news websites (like Forbes). What is the process to create such a page? I can see that our competitors Salesforce and Pipedrive have similar pages. Please let me know, thank you. --Kritikabatraa (talk) 13:23, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Kritikabatraa, sorry for not letting @Seawolf35 respond themselves. I just came across this, and decided to help. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. You are not allowed to create an article about the organisation you work at. Best, @Avishai11 Avishai11 (talk) 20:16, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Kritikabatraa The above answer is somewhat inaccurate, please read your first article and use the article wizard to submit your draft for review. If you work for the company you must disclose your paid status, you can do so using the
{{Paid}}
template on your user page. Please read the best practices for editors with close associations and the criteria for companies to be included on Wikipedia. v/r - Seawolf35 T--C 20:55, 22 January 2024 (UTC)

question about page rejection
hi! my page for Snotgirl was rejected, partially for a heavy plot section which i agree with in hindsight, but it also said that i should add my content to the existing Snotgirl page. i wasnt aware one existed, and i can't find one from my searching. wondering if you could help? thanks in advance :) Afterthelastmidtownshow (talk) 19:22, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Afterthelastmidtownshow It wasn’t rejected, it was declined. It was an error on my part with the script, that we use to review pages. It automatically inputs the name of a page. There is actually no existing Snotgirl page. v/r - Seawolf35 T--C 19:25, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- sorry mixed up my words! thank you for the clarification :) Afterthelastmidtownshow (talk) 00:58, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
The Civic Caucus
Hi, thank you for your quick review. I edited the article as to remove any positive words and to only include facts. If there are additional issues please let me know which section so I can do my best to rewrite again or remove it entirely.
Kind regards,
Luka Luka At The Civic Caucus (talk) 02:11, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Luka At The Civic Caucus, currently the draft only serves to promote the civic caucus, and Wikipedia is not for advertising. My best advice to you would be to start over from scratch and rewrite it using a neutral point of view and proving that The Civic Caucus is notable. Please read WP:BOSS and show it to your boss, this is not to discourage you from editing, but to provide you a better perspective. v/r - Seawolf35 T--C 02:24, 24 January 2024 (UTC)

Fictional Columbidae CFD
You closed the CFD for Category:Fictional Columbidae, but didn't do anything with it. Why? Kk.urban (talk) 17:13, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Kk.urban I listed it for processing but an admin didn’t process it for some reason, I have listed it again, it should be taken care of shortly. v/r - Seawolf35 T--C 17:29, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
ACC IRC channel access
Hey Seawolf35! Just wanted to let you know in case you hadn't seen (since I don't think I've seen you join yet) that I've approved your request to access the ACC IRC channel. Hope to see you around and thanks for helping out at ACC! –FastLizard4 (talk•contribs) 19:13, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

Margen74
Hi Seawolf,
I was wondering if you could take a look at User:Margen74's page. He seems to have copied your front page and is presenting it as his own. This includes some claims like having rollback rights that I think shouldn't be on his page if he doesn't have them. I'm not sure who to report that to, but wanted to check with you first.
P.S. Just a quick question, is your username related to the submarine?
Squatch347 (talk) 19:48, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Squatch347, I told them off a little while ago for this edit, that seemed to have ticked them off, they have copied AntiDionysius's user page now. That is certainly disruptive if they continue, I will leave them a note. And yes, my username is named after the USS Seawolf, I am a big fan of naval history and the Seawolf class submarines are my favorites! Thanks for letting me know, v/r - Seawolf35 T--C 20:00, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks. I remember way back in the day playing Red Storm Rising on computer (based on the Tom Clancy novel) and being able to play the USS Seawolf, what an incredible platform.
- I've reported him on the Edit War board and mentioned the profile stealing, so your name is on there. I'll copy the link here for your reference.
Squatch347 (talk) 20:04, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Squatch347 Alright, after seeing what they did on your talk page, they are not here to edit constructively and I will recommend an indef at AN3. v/r - Seawolf35 T--C 20:13, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
