[edit]

I'm Tesseractic and I want to welcome you to Wikipedia!

Wikipedia is an amazing community adventure which is constantly being edited. There are many different versions of Wikipedia for many different languages, and the English version has 6,918,785 articles which are written by volunteers like you and me! We even have a newspaper, The Signpost, to keep you up to date with news and new developments. Making your first steps on Wikipedia can be hard sometimes, so if you need any help, don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk page or ask a question on your talk page by clicking here. Someone will help you soon!

Wikipedia has five pillars which summarise Wikipedia's fundamental principles:

  1. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia
  2. Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view
  3. Wikipedia is free content that anyone can use, edit, and distribute
  4. Editors should treat each other with respect and civility
  5. Wikipedia has no firm rules

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Barney Barnato, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See MOS:PUFFERY. JeffSpaceman (talk) 21:35, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Bagumba. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Zach Edey, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 07:13, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Zach Edey full name

[edit]

Based on what reliable sources are you claiming that Edey's full name is incorrect in the Zach Edey article? —C.Fred (talk) 03:16, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

His Wikipedia page keeps being changed to Zachry Cheyenne Edey. There is no source or proof anywhere on the internet proving that his name is anything other than just Zach Edey. Yet it keeps being left up there incorrectly. Seanmorton1997 (talk) 20:10, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was supported by the existing IMG Academy citation. If you disagree with it, please discuss instead of edit warring. Regards. —Bagumba (talk) 05:35, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Seanmorton1997! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Zach Edey several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Zach Edey, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 05:32, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
