The article The Unstoppable Six has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kinu t/c 16:12, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ADG.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Adg.jpg. The copy called Image:Adg.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 16:14, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Leonids1963.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Leonids1963.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:06, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Birmingham University Astronomical Society

[edit]

The article Birmingham University Astronomical Society has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

lacks 3rd party references demonstrating notability of this organization. Existing references are to blogs and other primary sources

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 15:49, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Following on from above as it is a Non Notable club that fails WP:ORG and WP:CLUB - I have merged with and redirect this page to University of Birmingham Guild of Students#Astronomical Society per WP:PRESERVE —Preceding unsigned comment added by Codf1977 (talkcontribs) 09:56, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Robert Green, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
