Thanks Robert. This is a fascinating and eye opening exercise. I am trying to cite a book and another published piece on the band but relied on excerpted web sources of these.. There is also the fact that it was in rotation on college stations across the country (years ago)maybe CMJ charts from then exist. And MTV had the video of "time walks away" in rotation on miv's 120 minutes in 1990. Maybe an MTV source? would those things help? or is that not enough. I see entries for contemporary bands of less or similar renown and used some of the same source material but i also see that wikipedia has diligently edited some of these same. perhaps if i keep the entry small and focused on the album that got airplay and MTV and didn't cite the early MTV basement tapes with era. If the source cited is a published book and not the excerpted web publication would that enhance this as well?

a lot od question that are probably an annoyance to seasoned wiki editor but I am truly interested in this process. Thanks you for your time and interest.Seamus Seamuseoughan (talk) 01:07, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
