[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Link wheel. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 19:15, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
I know that wikipedia is not a collection of links and i also know it uses the nofollow attribute which makes links useless. But i think wikipedia should not be just a collection of random text, each affirmation should have good references, without them wikipedia would be just like any other website. The link i added was not inappropriate, it was not a link to a personal website, to a website which i'm affiliated or a link that attracted visitors to a website or product. It was a link to an informative article that provided more in depth information about a specific claim in the wikipedia article about link wheels. Thank you Scorpioseti (talk) 19:24, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
