- Thank you for your response on my talk page. I'm really sorry if I accused you unjustly of "vandalism". It did look like that, but I'm glad it wasn't. From what you say, it seems to have been a test edit. Happy editing! —MistyMorn (talk) 17:47, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks again for your understanding. It's actually a ridiculously easy sort of mistake to make—and one I hope I'll learn from. Your Username alone should have alerted me to the likelihood that this could have been a test edit which went askew. Anyway, I'm really glad the misunderstanding is sorted and that it doesn't seem to have discouraged you in any way from contributing to Wikipedia. Do let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I'll give your name to User:Rosiestep, from whom I stole the Welcome box above. Best from England (under a cloud!), —MistyMorn (talk) 19:45, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Daniel Léo Simpson
[edit]Hi, thanks for your article on Simpson. Given the new article requirements I imagine it might be nominated for deletion. You need to show referenced notability as a composer/significant third party citations, that is - not from the subject's website or a blog, but from a newspaper or book, for example. In the body of an article the links are not inset to the text. If a website references the text, please add it as an inline citation. I'm not suggesting there are not plenty of good sources out there, just that they need adding, for the TV and movie compositions for example. I hope that helps. Thanks Span (talk) 21:42, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking the time to review the page and also for your insights! Scoreperfect (talk) 01:16, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for adding the refs. I'm not sure that the sources given would go towards showing that the author is notable enough. If there were some reviews from a national newspaper or magazine or a write up in a book, that might do it. I had a look online but couldn't find anything. NYT, LA Times, Washington Post, that type of thing. The competitions noted don't look like national competitions. I'm just it flagging up in case a deletion nomination turns up. Also, WP articles can't be used to ref articles. They are not viewed as reliable enough sources. Best wishes Span (talk) 16:53, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
