[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): joinfaseb@faseb.org, joinfaseb@faseb.org (matching the regex rule (?<![^\s:])[^\s\]\[\{\}\\\|^\/`<>@:]+@\w+(?!\.htm)(?:\.\w+){1,3}). It appears that you inserted an e-mail address to Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology. Wikipedia pages should not contain personal information. For more information, please read Wikipedia:Biography of Living People, specifically the section about personal information.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Request reason:
I'm new to wikipedia and trying to update the company information. The first few times it reverted I had no clue it was because of a violation, I thought I was doing something wrong with editing. I've striped the content of all external links linking out to the company webpage and tried to change all the language so its not seen as an advertisement. Can it be reviewed and updated please?
Decline reason:
Since you haven't expressed an interest in editing Wikipedia outside the subject of your own company, I'm declining for now. Feel free to ask again if you change your mind. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:21, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Adding content including words such as "we" and "our" is clearly said from a promotional point of view, and you are clearly connected with the company. In addition you were given multiple warnings telling you why this content was inappropropriate. This is an encyclopedia not a vehicle for you to advertise--Jac16888Talk 18:33, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Under the conflict of interest guidelines, we all avoid writing about our own companies. Now that you know you won't be writing about your company, do you still want to be unblocked? What other kinds of edits will you be making? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:16, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
