Hi! I'm sorry I couldn't figure out how to send you a private message. I am very impressed with the Music of Ren and Stimpy page. I hope you can answer a question that has been bothering me for a long time. There is a particular three-note dramatic sting that is heard in "Ren's Toothache" when Ren discovers the ball of lint under his pillow. It is also heard in "Nurse Stimpy" at the very end of the sponge bath sequence. This sting is so common, but I haven't been able to determine its name, if it has one. If you know the answer, please tell me. With your knowledge of production music I'm sure you can help me out. Thanks. Pfeutzeneutre 08:04, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thank you for your quick response. You have kindly solved a long-standing personal mystery, and I am deeply grateful. Pfeutzeneutre 15:19, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Sb2007. I would like to know the name of the music when that drip of paint jumping on the tarps, which Spongebob and Patrick freaked out on. Would you help me out, please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by KyleCantwell322 (talkcontribs) 19:45, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that tune's been identified yet. Could be wrong, though. Sb2007 18:12, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know the happy music when the children were playing on Mr. Krab's yard in the episode "Krabs A La Mode"? And did you identify the music when that drip of paint jumping on the tarps, which is the reason that Spongebob and Patrick freaked out, yet? Let me know. Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. 2xtreme the theme song

Well I really don't think 2xtreme should be deleted because that and the game are two way different things. Thebluesharpdude 06:10, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to List of Virtual Console games (North America), even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. TJ Spyke 13:17, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Birds of a Father has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I was unable to find any reliable source offering significant coverage. Fails to meet WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Odie5533 (talk) 15:59, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tweety

[edit]

That was a funny criticism, considering that all cartoon series are that way; indeed pretty much all fictional series of any kind are like that: the characters become known and are expected to act in a certain way. The same ideas are reworked until they run out of variations. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots22:02, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but it's still not a paragraph that belongs on Wikipedia, since it offers no source as to who gave the criticisms, and reads more like one person's opinion on the series as a result. It's no different than the Robert McKimson article; for a while, it was written with quite the bias, until I went ahead and removed the comments which could be debatable. Intervening

[edit]

Now before you further make changes to the Tiny Toons summaries let me explain this. I've spent many days previously working on those summaries and I don't approve of any rude intervention. It wouldn't be the first time that happened when I had a previous similar experience with Admiral Maxtreme overwriting and mutilating my summaries. Edit conflicting isn't my interest. I'd much rather you made suggestions in the discussion page instead of incessantly editing immediately after. My observation tells that the way those summaries are being rewritten are making them pretty close to spoilers that defeat the purpose of short summaries. Every little detail need not be added. Also I cannot remain silent if you boast "they make more sense that what you wrote", for I am totally against vanity. Think about this and I hope we come to an agreement. Deltasim (talk) 19:03, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about the rude tone in the edit comments. I just get irritated with reverted edits when there was absolutely nothing wrong with what I wrote. Additionally, I fail to see how any of my plot summaries contained spoilers. If anything, I was making them more specific so one who has never seen the episode would know what occurs. Let's look at a few instances of my summaries you reverted, and why I personally feel my versions were better:

*"It's All Relatives": Babs' date with Buster is prevented by a visit from her grandmother, which humiliates her.

This plot summary makes it sound like Babs's grandmother purposefully humiliates her. In reality, Babs was annoyed how her mom wouldn't let her leave until she did a funny impression that she thought grandma would enjoy. The revision you made is a little better:

*"It's All Relatives": Babs' date with Buster is prevented by a visit from her grandmother which gives her a hard time.

...But it still is needlessly vague. How does grandmother give Babs a hard time? That could mean any number of things, and tells nothing of the multitude of impressions Babs performs.

*Wraparounds: In Daffy Duck's absence Henny Youngman is teaching the class, who seems to be boring.

So who is boring here? Henny Youngman or the class? It isn't made clear by the awkward wording. In your defense, your second version makes more sense:

"|Wraparounds: In Daffy Duck's absence, Henny Youngman (in caricature as an actual hen) is teaching the class, making everyone but Hamton bored."

Next...

*"The Potty Years": In his potty years, Plucky Duckling didn't feel like toilet training but was reluctant after seeing the flush. His attempts didn't quite work and he made the toilet overflow.

"Reluctant" means Baby Plucky was hesitant about flushing, which isn't the case. He became obsessed with flushing. The follow-up sentence is vague (attempts of what, exactly?). The revision you made was a little better:

*"The Potty Years": In his potty years, Plucky Duckling didn't feel like toilet training but the flush made him try. All he managed to was overflow the toilet by flushing a lot of objects down it

But "the flush made him try" is still an awkwardly-written sentence. Try what? It can be inferred from earlier in the sentence that you're referring to toilet training, but we see that baby Plucky wasn't interested in toilet training at all, but merely flushing over and over. And the follow-up sentence contained a grammatical error ("all he managed to..." what?), which I fixed.

*"Happy Birthday Hamton": Babs, Plucky and Buster head to the mall to get the perfect toys for Hamton's Birthday. However, they buy toys they would rather keep for themselves. Instead, they give away their old toys and later regret it.

There's no reason "Birthday" should be capitalized, since it isn't a proper noun. I'll give you that "turning thirteen" isn't that necessary of a detail, though.

*"My Dinner with Elmyra - Part 2": Max and Elmyra go to the cinema, watching Max's least favourite movie 'The Adventures of Fido and Mewmew' and is soon about to receive Elmyra's smooching.

"and is soon about to receive Elmyra's smooching" is awkward wording. And it contains no less spoilers than my summary did:

"Max changes his sour tune when Elmyra kisses him at the end of the date."

My revision also displays Max's change of attitude (an important point of the plot), which your version lacks.

*Can't Buy Me Love: A new neighbour called Rhoda Queen arrives in town and Elmyra's eager to become friends with her, but Rhoda has quite a dark nature.

"A dark nature" is yet another vague statement. Your revision of my revision works a little better:

"but Rhoda is a spoiled brat who threatens Elmyra to break up with her, to get her every demand met."

However, the sentence is awkwardly broken up by the comma after "her". "To get her every demand met" isn't a complete sentence, so it shouldn't be separated with a comma. Additionally, "threatens Elmyra to break up with her" makes it sound like Rhoda is ordering Elmyra to break up with her, which doesn't make sense. Perhaps something like this, combining both of our summaries, would work best:

but Rhoda is a spoiled brat who threatens to break up with Elmyra unless her demands are met.

Finally...

*"My Dinner with Elmyra - Part 1": Montana Max's parents are going for dinner with the Duff parents and Max unwillingly takes Elmyra to the restaurant where he is poked fun at.

As I mentioned in the edit comments, it's generally bad English to end a sentece with a preposition ("at"). The single word "teased" not only is shorter (which you yourself seem to be advocating), but doesn't end with a preposition and gets the same meaning across.

I hope all this makes sense, and apologies again. Sb2007 (talk) 19:51, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see what you mean. Now that the summaries have been reconstructed, does it seem in neutral condition now? Deltasim (talk) 19:56, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Reason I do it because...

[edit]

I saw lots of bad reviews written for certain Double-Dipping LTSS DVDs on Amazon.Com and even on the Warner Bros. Online Shop Store.

I saw lots of reveiwers giving low stars and written negative reveiws for most LTSS DVDs, mainly the double dipping LTSS.

But also lots of Collectors were disappointed on the Road Runner Super Stars DVD because it didn't contain any of the classic Chuck Jones Road Runner Cartoons.

Lots of reviewers have writing negative reviews for the Super Genius Hijinx DVD as well.

I only add the bits of avoiding any certain LTSS DVDs if they are double dips or if something is wrong with the DVD.

And thatis why I do it. To help collectors out by letting them know that if a certain LTSS DVD contains double dips, and if they already have most of the cartoons in their Golden Collections, they'll be advised to steer clear from them at all costs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LooneyTunerIan (talkcontribs) 21:35, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hanho Heung-Up potential deletion

[edit]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Hanho Heung-Up requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the importance of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Banaticus (talk) 09:35, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Virtual Console games for Wii U (North America), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Natsume (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
