Meatlocker Seven moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Meatlocker Seven, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. - As a big fan of Unleash The Archers I am slowly going through and creating content for some of the band members previous or alternate projects. SayshaDawg (talk) 19:29, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
- FYI any bands I add or contribute to will already be discussed/listed on the Unleash The Archers wiki SayshaDawg (talk) 20:41, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
Meatlocker Seven moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Meatlocker Seven, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) The references like discogs are non-RS. It needs reliable WP:SECONDARY sourcing from WP:MUSICRS, not social media links. scope_creepTalk 09:47, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
- Hi. Is it the link to Discogs for Mike Selman that you are referring to or the complilation album or both? I see discog links on Wikipedia to band members pages in the past (See 3 Inches of Blood for example) so I did not think it would be an issue. This is my first wiki add so I am still learning the ropes. Do you think if I remove just the compilation link it will pass?
- Thank you SayshaDawg (talk) 20:27, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
- Also please see this discussion:

Speedy deletion nomination of Meatlocker Seven
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Meatlocker Seven requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - Hello. Can you please undelete Meatlocker Seven so I can move it back into drafts? On a side note, I compare the article to dozens of other band articles on Wikipedia and nothing was out of order that I could see. I am currently tying to build a database of bands with members that formed Canadian Juno Award winning group Unleash The Archers. it took me some time to gather all of the info for this one. List of female heavy metal singers
[edit]Hello. Your recent edit to List of female heavy metal singers appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:24, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi.
- both singers I added are notable entities as can be confirmed by both of their band entries which are on Wikipedia (Unleash the Archers, Oceans of Slumber). Brittney Slayes (Unleash the Archers) is more famous than a number of the entities listed on that page and has worked with a number of the vocalists on that page on other projects as well. She is also a Juno winner. SayshaDawg (talk) 19:11, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
