Yes.I agree with Satish vettuva gounder. In 1881 caste gazette there is no kongu vellala caste alt all.Not only that .Many of their sub groups like vellala gounder, nattu gaunder, narambukatti, pala vellala gounder are missing.. Also for others sangu,Thondu,Thirumudi are without any titles.Only for senthalai vellalar padaithalai vellalar pavalangattu vellalar and rathinagiri vellalar they have vellalar title but no gounder title to anyone.

At the same time I can see vettuva gounder, kurumba kavunder, kavunder castes in the same 1881 caste list... So they have done a big fraudulent after 1881...I guess to get the gaunder title.

Also kongu is not their birth place.Only by 9th century they were sent to this place.before that vettuva kaundars and palli gaunders were the kings of that place. Kongu velllala doesn't know any farming.Only in the past 100 yrs they do little cultivation coconut farms and vegetable gardens and kambu, corn etc..that too they learnt from kongu nangu vamsa Devendra pannadis. They have no idea about rice cultivation at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.5.98.80 (talk) 19:48, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
