Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Giuseppe Mazzini. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. - Oh. I did put a reference down ( a link) in https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:Giuseppe_Mazzini.
- But I did not cite any page in the article because I did not know how to. I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sasaank (talk • contribs) 07:47, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- Indeed, so you did, and I see that you also proposed the change there before making it; sorry I didn't notice it. (It's always a good idea to include a brief explanation in the edit summary, such as "changing birth date as per talk page", so other editors can see that it's not a random edit.) However, as I've also noted on the talk page, the source you cite is almost certainly in error, when so many other encyclopedias and biographical dictionaries uniformly say 1805. - Check out WP:CITE. It should be fairly explanatory. Once you get the hang of that, there are a few tools you can use to make it easier. I'm happy to assist if you have questions. Drop me a note on my talk page.
- Oh, and don't forget to sign your comments on talk pages. Take a look at Wikipedia:Signatures.
- This is all easier than it looks, once you know where to look.
- Cheers! Toddst1 (talk) 23:13, 17 October 2021 (UTC)

Ok. Thanks a lot guys.
Oh. But Hqb, the age of Giuseppe Mazzini at the time of his death was given to be 64 years(in wiki), but his age, if he was born in 1805 would have been 66 years, 8 months and 18 days.
- Yes, that was an error introduced recently by another editor; I've fixed that one as well, so that the article now correctly says that Mazzini died at age 66. Note that Wikipedia is not considered a reliable source; that is, you cannot use an (otherwise unreferenced) "fact" already present in Wikipedia as a source for justifying related additions or changes.
