Hi there. I have left a welcome message above that will explain using talk pages and so on. Yes, it is never a good idea to use Wikipedia for referencing any serious book or academic study, it's not taken seriously at all by any moderator or reviewer, let alone by any serious academic (one day that might change).

I'm not an expert on NZ Policing, I'm afraid. I can only point you in the direction of their site. If you live in NZ I'm sure you can collect information in local libraries or by contacting the press department of your local police force.
