You're going to accept I presume? Blnguyen | rant-line 06:25, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- I came to your talk page to ask of you if you'd ever considered becoming an administrator here at Wikipedia? I then discovered this heading addressing my exact question, and wondered if something was already afoot? I'd be happy to nominate you if it hasn't already occured. -- Longhair 05:01, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think you'd make a fine administrator, and will let what's already evolved run its' course. I do hope you decide to accept. Be sure to let me know once your request is online so I can lend my support. -- Longhair 05:16, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Why remove the gallery?
Hi Sarah! I was wondering why you removed the photo gallery from the article on the Sydney Opera House. I believe it really gives the article something extra, and it would be quite preposterous to have all the images on there own, and the are really descriptive, beautiful images of the Opera House. I can really not see where you’re disagreement of the gallery is coming from. Please answer this on my user talk page. Jfp-24 11:27, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Barnstar vandalism
Thanks for sorting this out re User:Jeyler. He left a message for you here accusing you of vandalism, which I have reverted as vandalism. I presume you have no interest in such nonsense, but replace it if you want it recorded. Tyrenius 17:47, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Over there
One thing to move the "aboriginal name" (which begs more questions than answers) from the much vandalised mania to the south, it seemed at least a talk page item, no? SatuSuro 02:01, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. Yes a quandary. I'll let it rest. If you are interested in tas things, maybe Cape Barren Island is worth putting on your watchlist, you'll understand when you check it SatuSuro 02:48, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- I was thinking that the uninvited unsigned talk on front of article page needed monitoring just in case he came back again :), and also the article in general needs a cleanup, I just didnt want to be the only editor watching if he did come back, so i have alerted a few others including admins :) SatuSuro 03:03, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Oh, I see it’s ok to provide information on film festivals, fashion events or major finance companies in cities such as Toronto, Tokyo or NYC, but it isn’t ok to have room for Sydney and its Opera company, total bias! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.6.138.34 (talk • contribs)

- Well, in that case let me thank you for your support. That was a lovely thing to say, even if I did fish for it somewhat! In all seriousness, and with no disrespect to the individual opposers, I wonder if the RfA process may need a re-examination? I feel like I'm on the rack here... which was the fear that held me back from accepting the nom in the first place. On the other hand, I've been heartened by some of the (to me) surprising support votes. Oh well, and I'm not quite down yet I suppose. --Guinnog 16:26, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Re: Pnatt
Bainer, could you please look at User:- 40, User:- 41 and User:- 42? They're User:Pnatt socks/impersonators. I reported it at AIV, but no one seems to be around and as you can see, he's rampaging through Australian articles converting CBD > downtown. Cheers, Sarah Ewart (Talk) 11:14, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I noticed those, and figured they were all socks of each other, although I didn't know who the puppeteer was. I've blocked those three for the time being, and there's a case now filed at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Pnatt (2nd) if you have any more to add. --bainer (talk) 11:32, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I just added - 38 (talk · contribs) and - 39 (talk · contribs). - 39 has been blocked but -38 hasn't yet. I hope he doesn't have another 37 of these to cycle through. :/ Thanks, Bainer. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 11:37, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- That one's blocked too now. Hopefully the autoblock will hit him soon, although given the sheer number of socks he probably has a dynamic IP. A checkuser may be in order. --bainer (talk) 11:53, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Mechanics Institutes
Hi - Saw your edit to the Mechanics Institutes page and your new article on the Institute at Sorrento. I have started an article on the Insittutes and similar bodies in Australia at Cultural institutions in Australia. I have chosen a generic title as I wanted to capture Schools of Art and Literary Insitutes as well. I would welcome suggestions for a better article title. Yeah, you didn't do much, but moving my comment to the proper page was enough. But I contest the idea that my talk page is not mine to delete the contents, and I've never heard of warx before then. So I was actually dis-inclined to answer his query, especially since he didn't even identify himself; I thought he/she was nosy. It's not up to me to find out who he is. Thanks again for the unsolicited help. --Mdoc7 18:57, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm, OK thanks for the heads up on that; I thought you might say something like that. I won't make the page my own, cuz that's not why I'm here. (Actually, the help you gave wasn't unsolicited by me.... just indirect-- I did ask for help. You answered it.) It's just strange to hear that content deletion (that we're talking about)is taken as an insult by anyone, considering a complete stranger would just pop in and ask a seemingly stupid one-liner question right out of the blue. Anyway-- I'm new here, I'll just abide by the rules. And browse the guidelines. Thanks, Mdoc7 16:35, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Question for Sarah
Hi Sarah, I have questions about Wikisource and thought maybe you could help or route me to somebody who could. I think I put things in articles that maybe were supposed to go in Wikisource.
Also, does a person have to have a Wiki article in order to be put on a list? I added an article yesterday of a female bodybuilder who won a national title in 1981, but it might not be notable enough to qualify for a regular article. I added her to a list because I know she was ranked and listed in Joe Weider's mags in the 80s.
In general I am somewhat confused about notability when presenting new articles, especially bios. I spent yesterday getting aquainted with the bio procedure and I have a better idea now of the protocol, but I'm still confused on some points. For example, there is an article David C. Lane that seems like it needs to be more Wikied. Is this a good example? On the other hand, I added an article Ariel Tomioka who is notable in certain communities and she is an author, but I can't find much bio on her, so she may not qualify as notable. Is a lot of bio info needed in order to be considered notable? Oops forgot to sign my name. KarateLadyKarateLady 18:07, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Thank you very much for participating in my RFA, which closed successfully today with a result of (62/18/3). I will go very carefully at first, trying to make sure I don't mess up too badly using the tools, and will begin by re-reading all the high-quality feedback I received during the process, not least from those who opposed me. Any further advice/guidance will be gratefully accepted. I hope I will live up to your trust! Guinnog 15:06, 30 August 2006 (UTC)} |
Sarah
I have never met a person by the name of Sarah that I didn't like. There was a song named Sarah done by the Jefferson Starship years ago. I loved that song and the group. See...I'm stuck in the 80s! :)
Thanks for you comments. This real life stuff gets in the way when one is trying to wiki. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and my husband is making me rest, so I'm getting time to learn the wiki-ways since I can't do much else. I'm even getting ready to add a "wikify" tag to an article. Cheers to you too! KarateLadyKarateLady 16:25, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Copyright owner request to remove image from Wikipedia
New question... The image is at "Cessna 414" in the search box. It used to be on Keith Green also, 'til I removed it on request of copyright owner (image owner?). I obtained permission for its use on Wikipedia under GFDL (and sent evidence of approval via email to permissions@wikipedia), sent him the links where used, and now her wants 'em completely removed because it might hurt his business. And he wants to make sure it's removed. To use incorrect grammar, "Do I gotta comply?" The image is a 3-dimensional illustration of a Cessna 414 airplane. I'm delaying removal from Cessna 414 page til I get input from you or anyone. ---Mdoc7 19:30, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Sarah, Thank you for the kind note and ongoing help.
I did not feel the notability tag was negative, so not to worry. :) I was just trying to put a general plea out there to folks who were familiar with Erich so we could get it expanded. I thought maybe the New Age category had been placed in error. He is regarded more as a yoga purist.
I completely trust your assessment of articles. Your editing style is impressive. Editing is tedious work and I admire this talent you have.

Hi Sarah...question and more...
Hello Sarah,
I am sorry for the loss of Steve Irwin. He was very popular with me and my family. This is a quite a loss. We are sad about this, and we will miss him.
I have a question. What pages do you suggest I work on to help Wikipedia with my limited skills at this time. I have noticed that the "pages needing attention" section is vast. It seems there is so much work to do. Is there a section for newbies to work on minor edits, etc., or a category with missing birth dates? I could search and add information like that. Any suggestions?
I am recovering, but I have to be patient. Thank you for asking about me.
Your doggie is cute. He has a look of innocence in his eyes. It makes him look like a puppy. I like him. KarateLadyKarateLady 04:58, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello
Hi Sarah, first thanks for your edits at the STD template talk page. You were far better at communicating with a new contributor than I was (I got quite frustrated with him yesterday).
UTIs -> I agree with you the STD template. Like you say, the bulk of UTI's are not sexually transmitted. The most recent update with the CDC's report on STDs talks about urethritis and cervicitis (which are definitely primarily sexually transmitted) but not on UTI's per se. I agree with you that it should probably be removed.
Dangerous drugs -> It's hazy here. The official rule is that all opiates must be counted and signed by some mechanism. It used to be that all opiates were locked in a dangerous drug cupboard and were counted and countersigned (and it still is like that on the older wards). Now, on the newer wards, they have these infernal automated drug dispensing units that count and dispense all drugs removed. For these, opiates are dispensed just like any other drug, as every drug is counted by the system, and an "electronic signature" is sent to the pharmacy. Our nurses then pop the meds (including opiates) onto the trolleys for dispensing at their leisure.
Hope this helps -- Samir धर्म 18:40, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
UTI/STD template
i think the article is flawed then, allthough im sure UTIs are not exclusively trasmitted sexually, they can be. I watch talk sex with Dr. Sue Johannesen a lot on Oxygen and if a woman has a UTI and she has sex with a man without a laxtex barrier he will probably get a UTI as well. They can be transmitted sexually, this does not mean that it is only an STD, but rather that is can be transmitted sexually, i will look some info up and update the article. Any thoughts? I don't want to start en edit war by any means, i hope we con cooperate to find a suitable compromise.Qrc2006 22:32, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
thanks sarah, hmm do you know of the UTI that are sexually transmitted, do they have articles? maybe the UTI page's intro could be updated to clarify this, and say some UTIs are STDs/STIs or can be, but not all are. ?Qrc2006 04:13, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I know you said you weren't ready earlier and Mets501 jumped the gun, but, now you've symbolically broken the 5000 edit mark,[3] so I'm wondering if the listing is imminent...? Tyrenius 02:45, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
questions for you
Hello Sarah. Can you tell me the proper way, or format, for listing books on biography pages according to Wikipedia standards? I have been editing Richard Bach and other bios. There is a lot of work to do on here--for sure. I've been using your "random article technique" and it is fun.
I'm trying to make improvements to articles based on guidelines I have received from Tyrenius, plus I've been studying the manual of style. But I can't find how to list books. I'm sure it is written someplace, but I need new glasses, so my eyes are buggy.
Also, is there a guideline for making proper editing notes? I have noticed that people use the term "style edit" and I don't understand when or how to use that term. You always make good comments, so I would like to follow your example. Any tips?
I won't have time to check my talk page until tomorrow. So thank you in advance for you help. Double cheers to you and yours, KarateLadyKarateLady 03:08, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Your RfA
I am looking forward to supporting -- I could !vote now and beat the nominator -- but you ought to take it down until you insert the answers to the questions. Otherwise you might start out with a "didn't bother to answer the questions" comment from someone, and you don't want that! Regards, Newyorkbrad 01:28, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- You're right, my fault. I saw a reference to your RfA on Mets' talk page (I have pages I've posted to watchlisted), and I saw the link to your RfA and clicked on it, and it looked real and I assumed it was live. I almost even voted on it! Please disregard my comment, and feel free to delete or archive this thread so it doesn't confuse anyone when the RfA does start. Regards, Newyorkbrad 01:35, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Courage
Your RfA writeup mentions that you've been seeking the courage to stand. I'm glad to see you have, so that I could support, but if during the process you find you need some fortification, I've supplied some liquid courage. There's a brand of beer from the UK that would have been perfect as an image, but I couldn't source a free pic so this Irish beer will have to do. Be a "spitfire" if you need to be, and best wishes. ++Lar: t/c 14:43, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- I've been informed (by one of your lurkers) that this is an English beer, not Irish, sorry for any confusion on that point. :) ++Lar: t/c 13:21, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry Sarah, that was me. It's a delicious Shepherd's Neame nutty ale. I'd be happy to buy you both a beer when your RfA is over! --Guinnog 13:26, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Man, you certainly are an efficient lurker, aren't you! :) I'll take you up on that next time we're in the same country... although I suspect perhaps Sarah's the one who you're really wanting to buy the round for??? :) I never turn down free beer. (although it's been my experience with the buying a round process, as practiced in the UK, that getting a round bought early on means only that you're in for more expense later, as later rounds tend to be bigger. Is it that way in Ireland too?) ++Lar: t/c 13:31, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmm, that can vary, as people drop out (occasionally quite literally!) of the round, it can get cheaper as well. It brings to mind our Scottish expression (for a stingy person) "First out of the taxi, last up to the bar"; not something I have ever been accused of (at least not to my face). I may be relocating to California at some point, although it is uncertain just now. Not such a great beer culture there as here or Ireland, but not as bad either as some folks here believe. Cheers! --Guinnog 13:37, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

WorldPaperMoney website removed from Manx Pound article
Just wondering why you thought this was a 'spam site'... I'd not actually looked at it before you removed the link, but it doesn't have advertising, and seems to have some quite good reference images that are relevant to the article. 82.153.96.176 21:25, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Good Archiving
I was wondering what to do with all the useless talk with and about Returnoftheman on the Talk:Schizophrenia page. (You saw that he was blocked by Fred Bauder withing hours, I'm sure, so that's that - for the moment.) It also seemed too cluttered to me, partially of course by my own fault. But of course, selective archiving is the very best way - many thanks for doing that! Now one can focus on the page's content again. Thanks also for reverting the changes on my user page. Merging categories
Hello - well done on your Adminship. I was wondering whether as an admin you would be able to help me - I'm trying to merge the categories Category:Towns in New South Wales and Category:Villages in New South Wales. There is no noticeable difference between these two and no criteria for establishing a place in one or the other. I have placed up a notice of merger for about a month and have had one positive reply and no objections. As far as I can see there's no way for a non-admin to merge categories - is that something you can do for me? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. (JROBBO 03:40, 20 September 2006 (UTC))

no shit your in australia, that still boggles my mind how people from one continant and another just communicate and cooperate just like that. hmm. regarding the guy who's a doctor, do you know he's a doctor? have u met him? have you seen his credentials? im sure you havnt. alltho id lean towards believing him, just because he is a doctor doesnt mean he is a good one, or a knowledgeable one. furthermore this is wikipedia, and doctor editors dont get any more clout than i do, thats elitist and albeit the varying levels of unregistered contributer, casual reader only, editor, editor with more then 3000 edits, admin, owners etc its a pretty damn egalitarian place so i really dont care if hes a doctor or not, i care about verifiable truths and adding in whatever i like to. quick question
Sarah, when listing books on bio pages, how do I list a book that has more than one ISBN number? For example, on the article Hal Higdon, he had a book published in 1975 but it was re-released in 1999. Now the same book has two different ISBN numbers. Which one do I use? KarateLadyKarateLady 22:02, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- My instinct is to go for the first edition, unless there is a particular reason to choose the later one or even both. Tyrenius 22:32, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Okay...
Thank you, Sarah. I agree, it could get long and complicated to list every edition. Hal Higdon wrote 34 books. I'm not sure I should all of them. That was another question too. I wonder if I should list all of the books I find? KarateLadyKarateLady 22:30, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Request for undeletion
I think the Robin Ball entry should be undeleted, as I describe in my talk page. It was nominated for speedy deletion, which I think is inappropriate: cf Wikipedia:Deletion of vanity articles: "Only those articles where there is no plausible assertion of importance should be considered for Wikipedia:Speedy deletion." I was advised to put a delrev tag on the page, but don't know how to access it. Delph4 16:52, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
You just deleted Challenge coin association. Typing the holdon tag was supposed to buy me some time to assert that this club is important in the talk page. I respectfully request you bring it back, as it is a valuable organization. --

Dupas expansion
Hi Sarah. A few weeks back you took an interest in the article on Peter Dupas. I've done a fair bit of work tonight and expanded on this monsters article. If you can stomach his life story, would you mind taking a quick glance and suggest where the article may be lacking if you have time? There's quite a lot to go, as his crimes cover a 30 year history, but I'm think I'm heading in the right direction. -- Longhair 13:00, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- Tread carefully around the crimelibrary.com library article on Dupas. I've found them highly unreliable compared to more reliable sources such as news reports - crimelibrary.com tends to have information on Dupas I can't find anywhere else, and dates there are often incorrect. I've just found a heap more on Dupas, so perhaps leave that quick review for a few days. This character has a lot to answer for and it's going to take a while to get it all into the article. For the code on my aussie flag usage, view the content of User:Longhair/Header. Good to see your admin bit doing it's work also. I've been watching, and you're doing fine. -- Longhair 13:21, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- I wonder then, do you have access to legal documents pre-1997? Austlii doesn't hold them for Victorian Supreme Court and Court of Appeal cases. -- Longhair 13:34, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- That's it. I've had others give me older court documents before from Factiva. Thanks for the offer. I'll let you know about the keywords as I require the information. No use overloading :) -- Longhair 13:56, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- I spent a good part of today on this article. I managed to source some documents on Dupas from the 70's and have now added a great deal of information on his earlier life and other uncharged crimes on women. Problem is, when you spend so much time looking at the one subject, things tend to blur into one big mess :/ Pick and pick away at my work if your time will allow. Another set of eyes is always a good thing. I think the article is about 85% complete for now. Dupas won't ever see the light of day again, so hopefully there won't be much more information to add apart from what I've already found and have here with me and his court appearances to come. Cheers. -- Longhair\talk 12:41, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Fair point on the edit to "alleged". Thanks for your time. I've thrown it up for Peer review to see what others have to suggest. Good question on the signature link to. It'd be an interesting article. -- Longhair\talk 05:25, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

I can live with your decision, thank you. Email for Junglecat
Hello there Sarah! Good to hear from you. I have an old email account that will change shortly. The old one I thought was activated (I think?) I will go into my prefs and see if I can get it to work. (I will update it with my new SBC provider email later on). I will get back with you. Thanks. JungleCat talk/contrib 18:19, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I think I have it enabled. I kept getting an error when I clicked the box and hit save. Also, I changed it to the new one after all. So, I should be good to go. JungleCat talk/contrib 18:40, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks Sarah for helping me with my email earlier. I just had to take a break for a bit. As you might have guessed, it wasn't active until today (but I thought it was). Best wishes to have the best day. JungleCat talk/contrib 23:59, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
NYer
Hi Sarah. Please let me know if you were able to unlock the ability for us to revise and re-post the article we discussed earlier. It's been down for more than 12 hours and it would be of great use for others who rely on the information (for engineering and automation research) and us if we could please revise the article in accordance with your earlier suggestions. Thanks. (PS- I am definitely starting to learn how to use these Wiki-com features.)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by NYer (talk • contribs) .
Anti-Americanism?
It is not clear to me why you have created so much red tape over one short article. It appears as if you are intentionally complicating things. The subject I wrote about is published and very well known in the engineering field. She is identified on numerous webpages and websites. She has even worked with leaders of the transport bureaus in all of Australia. (Please review the first cited government report from the article you abruptly removed and locked if you have any questions.) Wikipedia is an online Encyclopedia. There are numerous living and accomplished people from all over the world who are listed in Wikipedia. The subject of the article I submitted represents one of millions of these people. What is it about the subject that is causing problems for you and the team of administrators you have rounded up to review this... or maybe there are other elements that I need to now consider? Please let me know because your actions are truly inappropriate. I am trying to work with you, follow your suggestions, identify why the subject is important and noble, and yet you seem to escalate things without resolving them. If you now require the advice of your peers when you abruptly locked and deleted the article, then this demonstrates that you may not be qualified to be an administrator, let alone, a volunteer. In fact, it shows that you may have reacted too quickly and harshly in response to my earlier emails (in capital letters) and my lack of experience navigating the online communication of Wikipedia. The fact that you called upon an American and an engineer to further review my article demonstrates your concern about anti-Americanism because the subject is an American. This was not an issue until you raised it and allied with Guinnog. Should I now be concerned that you and your administrator friends will go on a speedy deletion spree and remove every one or more of my contributions that I volunteered and spent countless hours on? Will I now face bans or scrutiny on Wikepedia? These are legitimate concerns that warrant formal complaints. Furthermore, I am amazed by the camaraderie among the network of administrators. I am posting this complaint on your talk because I cannot seem to get one impartial administrator (who you have not teamed up with) to respond to my request for a complaint on my talk page. This is not what Wikipedia is about. Wikipedia is a wonderful tool. Please do not ruin it for the rest of us. I trust that you respect all people- including Americans- who freely contribute to Wikipedia. We are *all* volunteers.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by NYer (talk • contribs) .

- Mmmmm... I don't really believe in the project, wikipedia is more well known to users (and vandals for that matter), and isn't there something like IP's can't edit Citizendium? I think the project will flounder eventually. -- Lego@lost Rocks Collide! | 02:00, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
You went to school in the US?
I saw your note on ANI, and was impressed that you went to school in the US. I was born there :-). And now for something Wikipedia-related, while I'm here, congrats on the RfA. I was impressed by your (160?) personalised messages. I'm sure you'll be great with that bit. And now to return to reforming the process that made you an admin. — Werdna talk criticism 07:35, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Helping out with the backlog
Hi there and congratulations on your brand new sysop flag. Now that you are an admin, you might want to help the community in a way you weren't able to before. The obvious example is clearing out the Category:Administrative backlog :-) You might want to start with Wikipedia:Requested moves which I find the easiest to deal with. You don't need to spend a lot of time there, if every admin (we have 1000 of us!) spent just 1 minute a day clearing backlogs, we'd have no backlogs at all! If you have any questions, just drop me a note! Enjoy! :-) --Dijxtra 14:02, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
question
Hi Sarah, I have a question about book formats on author pages. Please look at Erich Schiffmann's book section. It lists the date of the book immediately after his name, instead of after the title of the book. It looks like maybe this is something done by a bot. Should the date of the book be after the author's name or after the book title? Also, where do those codes come from? Should I be using those too because I have added lots of books, dates and isbns on different pages. KarateLadyKarateLady 22:36, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Thank you
Sarah, Thank you. About the code, I probably used the wrong term...I meant the little formula that shows up on the edit pages sometimes. I just wondered if a bot does this or if I have to do it. It is confusing to me, so I will just keep adding the ISBNs and titles, etc. like I have been doing. Cheers to you :) KarateLadyKarateLady 14:52, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
Your opinion on something
Hello, Sarah. I wanted your opinion on something. I was thinking on getting an article to possible FA status. I always cite ref’s, but I usually put the link only. A good example of FA I spotted is the recent FA article Hurricane Katrina that has references that have link brackets on the dates of eternal links. They put the date to show when the info was pulled from the website, which is good as the link may disappear one day. However, adding brackets to the date really doesn’t give you anything. As an example, compare ref 1 vs ref 2:
... helped in the effort.[1] [2]

This section of the FA guide really doesn’t address it that well. I was thinking of leaving the dates without a link. What do you think?
Oh, BTW: I may send you an email on something I don’t want to post here (you just have to love what some users do). Plus I have been busy reading up on VandalProof so it may be a while before I send it. Cheers! JungleCat talk/contrib 17:31, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

- It is around 6.00 (morning) in India. In fact, Jimmy also felt the absence of women editors in the meet, and wished to see some women editors from India. I know (not personally though) of only one woman editor from India, Jishacj. In India, women are excelling in many fields, and school results show that girls, in many states, do better in school finals. I wish that more Indian women would start editing wikipedias. --Bhadani 00:45, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

The Age
Why do you keep removing the link to AgeWatch? A similar link from the Andrew Bolt page leads to a similar blog. Anonymous421
Blog does not need to be old to be relevant. If the blog becomes inactive or does not deal with Age related issues, then I agree it should be removed. Boltwatch was linked from the Andrew Bolt page since it was created. Anonymous421 12:32, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
You are also in danger of violating the three-revert rule, please discuss before removing links. Anonymous421 12:56, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Khosrow II making reverts
Dear Sarah, you are an administrator, right? I saw you blocked User:Khosrow II the other day because he was "revert-warring", and you told him to "make an effort to discuss your changes further". Well, he doesn't. Now he's revert-warring me, and he's not discussing. I'm a new contributor and I've been trying to make some improvements to one page, Greater and Lesser Tunbs, but he and two others have formed a tag-team erasing everything I write. They've together reverted me about nine times in three days. Each time I make different improvements, and today I made a big expansion of the article with lots of sources. Look at this, [11], I think nobody can claim that wasn't an improvement. Before I came the article was totally unsourced and most of it was factually wrong. But even that was reverted blindly without even a comment. They even erase factual corrections they don't even disagree with, just for the sake of not letting me edit. And all just because they can't stand seeing anything in the article that hints at there being other serious opinions than just their Iranian one.
Can you do something about this? They are wearing me down and I'm getting tired of having to discuss with these people, it's like talking against a wall. FellFairy 22:45, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Please restore SEDS
You recently speedy-deleted SEDS. I don't know what shape the article was in when you deleted it, but I think the organization itself is notable. Please take a quick look at http://wiki.seds.org/index.php/SEDS_History and http://www.seds.org/ The organization has a number of local chapters, and it's possible that the article may have given the impression that it operated only at a single campus. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 01:53, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
