A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Saphina123/MTP, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DYK for M-tp M-TP

[edit]

On 25 August 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article M-tp M-TP, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that 500 copies of Vietnamese singer Son Tung M-TP's compilation album M-tp M-TP sold out in 30 minutes? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/M-tp M-TP. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, M-tp M-TP), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

September 2017

[edit]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Sơn Tùng M-TP.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Filling up an infobox with bloated material is useless, and reverting without explanation is disruptive. "Piano" isn't even verified in the article, let alone as a reason for notability: there is no sourcing whatsoever for the paragraph that starts "At an early age, he studied piano..." As for the genres, all the ones you list are included in V-pop. You are not making your star shine brighter by having more sparkly blue links. Drmies (talk) 15:39, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Drmies: About his "songwriter" and "actor" credits, he did write songs (with an extra credit on another singer's single) and played the lead in this and this. So we're just going to leave those out because they're "incredibly redundant"? And just to make it clear, no, I'm not his fan and I don't have any intention of making "my star shine brighter". For this article, I'm sorry if my English confused you and I do agree with most of your edits. I'm trying to write it in a more neutral tone that you're asking for but honesty, I don't know how. P/S: The reason why there were Facebook links is because most Vietnamese use FB instead of Twitter. Many other articles cited Twitter links (1, 2, 3) so I just picked it up. I didn't know it wasn't allowed. Saphina123 (talk) 17:05, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No one should be using either Facebook or Twitter. It's not so much about being "allowed"--then again, you've been here for years and years so you could have known by now that BLPs require strong sourcing. And by "your star" I meant the subject of that article, yes. I don't know what that YouTube link goes to; I am not in the habit of clicking on them unless I know. I hope it's not a link to a copyvio. If he played in one film, sure we can call him an actor, but he's a musician first, and infoboxes simply shouldn't contain all the possible information one can find. Nor is he notable as a songwriter, so sticking that in the box is just redundant. Look at Donald Fagen. He is a songwriter. It needn't be in the box.

Speaking of which: I am waiting to hear what to do about all these accounts of yours; I have no doubt an admin is going to make a decision on that soon. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 17:35, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Drmies: I've created accounts to write articles because I felt uninspired and stuck when I am writing as one account. Other than that, I do not have any bad intention (edit wars, voting etc). I'm sure I'm not going to be happy when the admins merge my accounts or ban me permanently. But believe it or not, I felt like it's the only way for me to write Wikipedia articles. Saphina123 (talk) 18:02, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've asked you to answer this already a couple of times. I find the answer to be...well, odd. Since you don't participate in discussions, whether about content, articles, or policy, I don't see how you have different personas with these different names--but none of that is my business. I've invited you to respond at the the proper place on two or three of your other talk pages. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 23:52, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
