Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Academy Award for Best Picture, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. (CC) Tbhotch 16:33, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding copyrighted images to Wikipedia (both on commons, and then adding them here). Please read Wikipedia:Uploading images; none of these images you have uploaded are your "own work", they are the work of someone else. Endwise (talk) 12:37, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Qzd. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Barry Keoghan, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Qzd (talk) 18:40, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oran Zegman moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Oran Zegman, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Liam Payne

Do not add photos that are unsubstantiated for sources! Another editor has remover the photo.

kindest regards

There's also no evidence it is your own work, it appears to be potentially a copyright violation as it has been published on social media and in some Argentinian media sources. AusLondonder (talk) 22:28, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, sorry for the misunderstanding. The photos are real, but I'm pretty sure they are not a copyright violation. Also, well-know news shows and web sites are saying they are true here in Argentina.
Hope we can get an agreement! Santixd12 (talk) 22:33, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unless photos are released officially you cannot add them. What you did is considered vandalism. Any further cases and you could be banned from Wikipedia. Sophies mommy1988 (talk) 22:38, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The file has now been removed from the commons - [1] SimplyLouis27 (talk) 22:39, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I did not know about that, I'm very sorry. If i upload the photos as copyright and I put sources in it, is it correct or not? Santixd12 (talk) 22:42, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Wikipedia:Uploading images, this will help you SimplyLouis27 (talk) 22:52, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Santixd12 (talk) 22:52, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
liampayneroom.jpg is ok? Santixd12 (talk) 22:56, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That is not a source. That is a file name. A source would be a link to a verified news source. Sophies mommy1988 (talk) 20:30, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry... the photo, that file name... I uploaded it in Commons with sources and specifying that is not my work. Is it ok now? Santixd12 (talk) 21:26, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No. You are just not getting it. Uploading that photo is considered vandalism. I would suggest you learn a LOT more about editing, how to cite sources and when it’s appropriate to upload photos of that nature….which in fact is never. You seem obsessed with trying to get this photo uploaded. At this point, I would just drop the subject. Sophies mommy1988 (talk) 23:53, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok sorry, didn't want you to get angry or whatever... just trying to learn here, and I thought at the beginning that the photo was useful, I guess it's not. Santixd12 (talk) 00:50, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate images to Wikipedia, as you did to Liam Payne; it is considered vandalism. Please see the image use policy for appropriate use of images in Wikipedia. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Image you added has inaccurate description from the uploader - is this actually their own work? SimplyLouis27 (talk) 22:27, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You're effectively admitting here it is not your own work, and is therefore a copyright violation. AusLondonder (talk) 22:33, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
File has now been removed from commons - [2] SimplyLouis27 (talk) 22:38, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you check the thread above, it seems ‘our friend’ has either uploaded it again or is hell bent on doing it. I don’t know how to check Commons so perhaps you can do that? Thankyou! Sophies mommy1988 (talk) 23:55, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:47, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
