Suhas lalinakere Yathiraj (born 2nd July 1983) is an Indian civil servant and professional badminton player. He currently serves as the District Magistrate of Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh. He was born at Shivmoga in Bangaluru. His early education was started from shivmoga, later on He did his B.Tech in Computer Science from NIIT Surat. He started his career working with famous Sap-Lab in Germany. Due to his interest in Indian Civil Services, he became selected an officer of the 2007 batch of Indian Administrative Services. He came to the Public attention after winning Gold medal in Asian Para-badminton Championship 2016 held in China despite the fact that he has never been a professional badminton player. His love and passion for this sport has made him of the day to day administrative challenges. After winning the Gold medal he was acclaimed by the Chief Minister of U.P. and receive Yashbharti honor.
