License tagging for Image:Sandlercommlogo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Sandlercommlogo.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:06, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Sandler Communications, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ArglebargleIV 22:17, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Sandler Communications. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. -- ArglebargleIV 22:17, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Request reason:
This is my name and its my login on at least thirty major websites, all non-promotional. I do a lot of public service work, and am on the international accounting standards board's XBRL consortium (non-profit and pro-international relations), as well as volunteer with NIRI and PRSA (also non-profits), and so on. People are looking for me on Wikipedia and reporting that there needs to be a profile. I take it that you think what I wrote is too promotional. Well it's not intended to be that way, but I assure you it will be corrected if that is the case and thank you for taking the time to review my request.
Decline reason:
Sorry, but allowing you to continue editing would be a gross violation of Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). Wikipedia is NOT a vehicle for self promotion and without any assurances that you will respect this aspect of this encyclopedia, your block will be upheld. -- Netsnipe ► 04:49, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
