adding categories

[edit]

please note that categories are not just add and add - in some cases they can not be added where one category is a parent (or child) of another already there, on english wikipedia we have quite a strict interpretation of categories - please be aware of the policies and practices. thanks JarrahTree 09:05, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And please do not add wrong categories to articles. Peoples such as the Jingpo people, Lisu people, and Hani people are not mainly Buddhist; your additions of "Buddhist community" categories have been reverted. Even for ethnic groups who are majority Buddhist, they should not be pigeonholed into a single religion, unless their community is defined by their religion. -Zanhe (talk) 19:51, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I think you have just made the same mistake at the Dalit article. Just because a category can be added does not mean that it should be added. - Sitush (talk) 11:02, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of things named after B. R. Ambedkar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Korani (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:47, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
