Outline of science

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 09:21, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You were asking elsewhere about section links. You had the gist of it, but the main problem was that you had assumed that your article was named Wikipedia:Outline of science, when in fact it was called Outline of science. When you are linking within an article, you don't need the article name as part of the link, so just # and the section name will do. I've tidied it up, & a few other tweaks in the same section as well. Hopefully someone else will look further at your changes. - David Biddulph (talk) 13:43, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but none of that info belongs there. An outline article is just a list; see WP:OUTLINE. That type of information on science and methods belongs in the Science and/or Scientific method articles.

Also, you need to give references to appropriate reliable sources. You can't just write things that 'you know to be true' - it has to be supported by references. See WP:OR. 88.104.4.123 (talk) 13:26, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
