WP:AIV

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! Recent AIV reports

Thank you for reporting vandalism to WP:AIV. Unfortunately, we generally only block valdals if they have vandalized in the last 24 hours since their most recent warning. In the case of one of your reports, while they were last warned 16 hours ago, this IP is shared by many people, and the previous misbehavior was different in character. Hi there; although this article clearly needs {{speedy}} deleting, the WP:CSD tag "invention of the mind" does not exist, although perhaps it should. the only valid speedy tags are those listed in WP:CSD, and using them produces a more rapid admin response. I wasn't criticising you - the article clearly qualifies for {{speedy}}, and you have merely highlighted the fact that the list of categories is as yet inadequate. I have in the past tried to get "invention" and "deliberate untruth" listed in WP:CSD, with no luck so far. I think the nearest tag that fits this article is {{db-nonsense}} which I have applied, because it will attract attention more quickly. But yours would be better if it existed. On another note, you would have no way of knowing, but I usually count successive vandalism edits as "one act of vandalism" for my vandal count.
