Entry table changes

I've reverted your edits to the Formula One season entry tables. The problem with separating Formula One entries in this fashion is that it implies a distinction between "constructors" and "customers" that did not exist in this era of racing. There was no official constructor status recognised in 1950, neither was there any separate championship or classification for privateers, and the constructors championship itself did not even exist until 1958. Some other championships have multiple classes, and they are separated in the table to represent this, but in a F1 world championship race, this has never been the case. It appears that you tried to give BOSS GP Series a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Supercars Championship Results tables

Hello Samster, I have a basic idea to reduce the space taken up by your recent addition of the 'Supercars Championship Results' tables added to various Supercar drivers wiki articles. In articles such as Shane van Gisbergen, the table can exceed the width of the page - and create additional whitespace to the right. I understand that you are trying to update the articles to the standard of a F1 driver for instance, and it is appreciated, but due to the fact that Supercars had 38 races a season for a while it becomes very large.

I have a simple solution shown here, so that readers can view the table at their own leisure without the excessive whitespace off to the side. I just wanted to run it by you first as you have pretty well implemented all of them. I took this from the first row of the Shane van Gisbergen table.

To have it collapsable not only removes the whitespace but also reduces the potential clunkiness of the table - imagine what Craig Lowndes table is going to look like! It's really important, I think, when creating new WP:BLP articles that you make sure it's got at least one reliable source in the first edit. British Airway Destinations

Your edit to the page on British Airways destinations is interesting but the information you've added seems to lack obvious notability and will incur a very large maintenance requirement for this to be kept up to date. I imagine other editors may have the same opinion and I don't want you to end up wasting your time creating information for other airlines in good faith if it's at risk of being deleted by someone else. Fast Track Bristol

There is no reason to claim that Wright is driving for CBR at bristol. If anything, it's a GMS entry and the other races he's done with CBR are too. Have you noticed that he has driven the only CBR Chevys of the year? I just haven't found any source for that yet. And since there is no source for the Bristol CBR entry, I have manually reverted it.

Entry Lists On MotoGP Season Pages

Please stop re-arranging the entry lists on the MotoGP season pages. The entry lists on the motorbike racing championships on Wikipedia have ALWAYS been ordered according to bike number.

The teams are placed in order of the lowest bike number used by their riders, regardless of whether that rider is a regular, replacement or wildcard rider. And then the riders within each team are arranged from lowest number to highest number, regardless of whether that rider is a regular, replacement or wildcard rider.

I understand that things are done differently on the car racing pages. But, that is because numbers being assigned to the racers rather than the teams is a relatively new concept in car racing. In bike racing, the numbers being assigned to the racer is the way it has always been. Hence, we have been doing things under these principles for a much longer time.

Anyway, this is the way we do it on the motorbike racing pages. And we always strongly defend our practices. Only a few weeks ago we had to fight against an editor who was trying to change our practices on flag usage to the way flags are used on the F1 pages.

It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2001 Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution.
