Hi, I don't know where this was supposed to go, but it was very much in the wrong place. How'd you even get there? (Really, it would be helpful to know.) Rd232 talk 12:31, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well I've cleaned up your subpage draft, everything seems OK now. I'm still not clear how you found that page though. As far as I know it's not easy to find! Rd232 talk 14:12, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My thank yous again. That was serendipity for me, I guess. But I'll be mindful in this new environment & shall inform you when I do find that page. Samito1050 (talk) 16:47, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Antonio Ledesma Jayme requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Unionhawk Talk E-mail Review 17:57, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly "hang on." The "completed" entry for Antonio Ledesma Jayme is in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. However should the editors decide to delete, please "userfy" the page or have a copy emailed to the author. Thank you. Updates following. Samito1050 (talk) 18:17, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Antonio Ledesma Jayme

[edit]

Hi, I understand you're upset at the article you created being nominated for deletion (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Antonio Ledesma Jayme), but this happens all the time and it doesn't mean it isn't valuable. I expect the debate to conclude with "Keep". Keep up the good work. Rd232 talk 19:58, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PS there is a certain provincialism to English Wikipedia, dominated by US editors and topics they're interested in. There is a Wikiproject on that issue, Wikipedia:WikiProject Countering systemic bias. Rd232 talk 20:01, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Rd232. All I can say is "Thank you." Samito1050 (talk) 20:09, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. You might like to check out Wikipedia:Tambayan Philippines if you're not aware of it; you could also ask for help there. One thing you should do, so people can more easily understand the sourcing (reliable sourcing is key) is describe your links more clearly to say exactly what the source is. For instance, if it's a newspaper, give the name, date, author and title. See WP:CITE. Rd232 talk 20:27, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not make make personal attacks on other editors. Address the issue, not the editor. In addition, Wikipedia has a policy of assuming good faith. If you have any questions about this, please let me know. Rd232 talk 07:44, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Antonio l jayme.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Skier Dude (talk) 04:13, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Anton del castillo, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.antondelcastillo.com/artist-statement/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Information icon Hello, I'm Kkj11210. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Anton del castillo without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Samito1050 (talk) 15:12, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Thanks for deleting. I might edit for an eventual page if Anton Del Castillo makes it. I'd really like to show the "jackstones" though and await its delivery for a theoretical discussion on the validity that, aside from my published art critique (written for the next generation, millennials, etc.), the market and money is supreme in Late Capitalism, the present age. Those who say otherwise are "dinosaurs." Ergo aside from the importance of status quo and order and as Baudrillard said, "...our society has become so reliant on models and maps that we have lost all contact with the real world that preceded the map. Reality itself has begun merely to imitate the model." I'm still toying with all these models that I forgot about this page. Good that it's deleted, perhaps for now. Might write and edit the page in the future. I am in awe of your contributions, Kkj11210. Thanks![reply]

Image descriptions

[edit]

Samito, regarding File:Cheryl Tiu BVLGARI.jpg, the fact that she is wearing Bvlgari is not very important information, since she's not a model or fashion designer. When uploading photos, it's more useful to name the date and event of the photo instead. Thanks for the article on her, Oiyarbepsy (talk) 07:41, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And BTW, it appears there might be a copyright problem with the image, so you will need to address this to avoid it getting deleted. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 07:42, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cheryl Tiu, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Media and Amazon. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Amos (prophet), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kingdom of Israel (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ernest Concepcion

[edit]

Hello Samito1050,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ernest Concepcion for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Deletion pending for File:Ernest Concepcion's profile picture.jpg

[edit]

Hello, Samito1050. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Ernest Concepcion's profile picture.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. • If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
  • If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.

If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 14:34, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
