Hello, I'm Kkj11210. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Zong (disambiguation) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please do not blank the article before adding a CSD tag. KJ «Click Here» 13:00, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Zong sim 2.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Zong sim 2.jpg, which you've attributed to Zong. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 22:41, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
File:Logo up.png
I've just deleted File:Logo up.png under criterion G7, author-requested, since you're the uploader and you tagged it for deletion: we only wait several days when someone else tags such an image for deletion. When you tagged it, using simply {{db|no more in use}}, I didn't notice that you were the uploader. For future reference, what you did was fine, but a {{db-g7}} will probably result in quicker deletion and almost certainly will result in fewer admin mistakes like the one I made. Draft:Medical Technology Group accepted?
Regarding Wikipedia:Help desk#Publishing from sandbox, did you intend to move Draft:Medical Technology Group to mainspace? PrimeHunter (talk) 13:55, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- No, I did not intend to move it to main space but accepted review for a draft. It was moved from sandbox to draft namespace by user Rankersbo. -- - sms- talk 00:36, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
- I haven't followed how the new Draft namespace is used and am still confused. What does "accepted review for a draft" mean and what is the purpose of the edits at [1]? Is there a next step before becoming a mainspace article? Is somebody supposed to take further action after your removal of the AFC tag? PrimeHunter (talk) 01:37, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
- I am a bit confused as well. Submitting a draft for review at AFC is not mandatory but it was submitted for review, which I accepted. Any registered user can request or publish it to mainspace as the user desires. -- - sms- talk 09:14, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
Hand Washing in Jewish Law
The laws governing Ritual washing in Judaism refer mostly to a full-bodily immersion in a ritual bath (mikveh), whereas hand washing is in a category of its own. Hello. You had mentioned in your review of this AfC that it is not supported by RS. But i had included two citations from The Hindu, which is a major newspaper in India. Are you sure it cannot be taken as RS? --Jayakumar RG (talk) 08:15, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
- The Hindu is a reliable source but you have given references against some songs only. Please add some more information and add at least a reference to opening sentence/paragraph. You're welcome to resubmit your work. SAMI talk 08:20, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

Your request for rollback
Hi S.M.Samee. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! kelapstick(bainuu) 17:20, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Aamir Liaquat Hussain, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. This was basically a BLP violation as there are no reliable sources backing the addition of the categories. Message added 20:40, 23 May 2014 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
The article HTC Desire Series has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unsourced article
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. United States Man (talk) 21:55, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

You tagged an article for speedy deletion. It was declined by an administrator. You immediately retagged it (same criteria). Such retagging is disruptive. I've declined it, but don't do it again.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:28, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- I didn't tag it again immediately but after 1.5 hours approximately. I knew that he was an administrator but he himself did not suggest that it should be kept and he had given some room. This article is a balant advertisement and that's why I had retagged it and after you declined I nominated it for deletion. SAMI talk 23:35, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- His edit summary was pretty clear. You should have nominated it for deletion after his decline, not wait for a second decline. The amount of elapsed time - and 1.5 hours isn't much - is irrelevant. You retagging was the next edit after his decline.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:47, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, my edit was next to his but still it was not an immediate. I have not said his edit summary was vague but I had no experience with nomination before (exception is Netguide (disambiguation), which I did by a stroke of clicks). So I continued with tagging but upon your denial, I did not tag it again but nominated for deletion (with more than 2-3 edits) before the very warning you gave. SAMI talk 00:00, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
- Hopefully, you've learned from the sequence of events, and in the future you'll know what you should and shouldn't do. It sounds to me like you were acting in good faith, and I don't want to beat this into the ground.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:15, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for your kind gesture -- SAMI talk 00:18, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi. I've declined your speedy as there is enough context now, and he passes A7 by having been an MLA. As it's unreferenced, I've tagged it PROD-BLP instead. Peridon (talk) 13:57, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Your edit to Majid Kavousifar
Hi S.M.Samee, thank you for you help with the new pages review. However, please be careful to tag articles for improvement correctly. None of the tags you placed on the article Majid Kavousifar (Template:refimprove, Template:BLP sources, and Template:uncategorized) applied to the article. The article is about a dead person, has categories, and has sufficient references at the bottom of the page. I have corrected and placed proper tags on the page, nonetheless, please try to be more attentive in the future. Thanks! ~ Anastasia (talk) 18:11, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
I don't believe issuing an "only warning" for this user was the best choice here. Obviously the page was garbage, but let's assume a little good faith and say they were just testing things out. I've issued a second, lesser warning on the talk page for vandalism. Thanks for your good work nonetheless. Eagles 24/7 (C) 15:48, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
- I used the only warning because the user was deliberately vandalising but I shall take care to assume good faith edits next time. SAMI talk 15:52, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi please notice the talk page of the original aorta article. I'm using my userspace as a sandbox in this case to improve the articles many issues. Is there a problem with that? Tomato 33 (talk) 15:55, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
- There is no problem with that. But they way you're doing is not correct. The page was in main space instead of user namespace. Please click here, User:Tomato 33/aorta to make edits in your own space without interruption*. SAMI talk 16:00, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Zimogorye
I am aware that I am not in a position to remove CSD tags from pages I created myself, but this one is completely out of place. CSD G6 applies only to disambiguation page; this one is a set index (and a part of a category with hundreds of similar pages). I would appreciate it if you withdrew—the last thing I want is to waste time on overturning the deletion if somebody deletes it without paying attention. - Because Zimogorye, Moscow Oblast and Zimogorye, Novgorod Oblast do not exist on Wikipedia. It is always good to create it in one's namespace to avoid interruption and then to move it to main space. SAMI talk 16:54, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
- Just because these articles do not yet exist does not mean they will never be created. See WP:REDLINK (red links are frequently present in lists). Since this is not a disambiguation page, there is nothing wrong with it containing red links, as long as there is sufficient information to establish the background. Anyway, I've added coordinates and references, so the list is now sourced as well. Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); May 28, 2014; 17:03 (UTC)

Waiting period before CSD tag
Hi Sami. Thank you for your diligence with New Page Patrolling. However, I have noticed that several of your recent A7 Speedy Deletion tags have been placed only one minute or so after the page was created. Please wait for at least 10 minutes for placing tags on articles such as A1, A3, A7 (not those obviously needing immediate attention, such as Attack, Vandalism, Hoax, Copyvio, etc.). As is stated at WP:CSD: Consensus has developed that in most cases articles should not be tagged for deletion under this criterion moments after creation as the creator may be actively working on the content; though there is no set time requirement, a ten-minute delay before tagging under this criterion is suggested as good practice. Please do not mark the page as patrolled prior to that suitable delay passing, so that the wait does not result in the article escaping review at a later time. These is just a reminder. Thanks. — CactusWriter (talk) 18:37, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
