Information icon Hello, I'm Blue Square Thing. Your recent edit(s) to the page James Pattinson appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Removing the citation doesn't help your case. Pattinson

[edit]

Hi. Sorry, but you need to:

a) go with the sources wrt his bowling style. Honestly, I don't give a stuff if he bowled a particularly quick ball in 2011 - perhaps the radar gun was juiced? Who knows. All sources say fast-medium, so he's fast-medium.
b) not add too much clutter to the lead. Again, it makes no difference who he bowled that ball to. When, yeah, maybe - especially as it was more than nine years ago now - but against whom and where is irrelevant.

Take a step back, read some other articles (the good ones, not the crap ones) and have a think about it. Blue Square Thing (talk) 17:51, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Blue Square Thing: First of all he didn't bowled one odd bowl to Dravid at 154 he regularly clock over 145 km/h in that summer. Even after his injuries he still bowl quicker than Cummins and Hazelwood on regular basis as for going with source same source of Cricket Australia use to mention Mitchell Johnson as a Left arm fast-medium bowler till 2012. What the fuck ??? Isn't same Johnson who bowled thunderbolts during Ashes 2013. If Pattinson isn't fast i doubt highly in case of many young quicks including Umesh Yadav,Bumrah,Cummins etc. Its not 70s where we have bowlers like Thommo,Holding, Andy roberts bowling at over 150 for fun. Thank you very much. Sam O' Donnell (talk) 18:13, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Find the sources. Until you have them, you're in WP:OR territory and that'll end up with problems. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:22, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
When I say, it becomes a problem, I mean it. You must stop adding your opinion to a WP:BLP article. Without sources, this is obvious OR and that becomes vandalism. It's really simple: find sources or stop. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:25, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
