Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Tiruppur, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Indianmoviestats.com

[edit]

Hi there, I have reverted this edit of yours because it looks like you are attempting to reorganise elements of List of highest-grossing Indian films based on information found at indianmoviestats.com, however that has not been established as a reliable source. The mere existence of financial figures online is no guarantee of accuracy. Anybody can start a blog or website and publish whatever they want. See WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources for a short list of sources generally considered reliable in the context of Indian entertainment. You are free to open a discussion at Talk:List of highest-grossing Indian films if you wish, but please don't resubmit the content without achieving consensus to do so. You should probably also see Referencing for Beginners, so that you understand how to properly add references to articles. Placing a link inside of HTML "hidden comment" formatting isn't the way to do it. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:45, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Cyphoidbomb. Bahubali 1 & 2 are not tamil movies — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sakthi1101 (talkcontribs) 16:09, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This edit is disruptive. Your recourse when reverted is to open a discussion on the article's talk page, not to resubmit the content. Further, you don't get to unilaterally decide what is or isn't a Tamil-language film. According to sources, the Baahubali films were filmed in Tamil. That would make them Tamil-language films. Granted, they came from a Telugu studio, but again, that is a matter for discussion, i.e. whether each of those sections should be limited to reporting financial details from the respective industries or not. You currently do not have consensus to make this change. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:51, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
