Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jha09, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Jha09 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jha09. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 11:53, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@SahanaChopra2, YOU, the person behind the account, are blocked from editing. There are issues with how you've been editing and rather than deal with those issues, you ignored them while editing as Jha09, and after that account was blocked you continued to ignore them and create new accounts (called sockpuppets). I don't think you really understand how badly that comes across to the Wikipedia community. You've basically said to everyone here "I'm right, you're wrong. I will do as I want and I don't care one bit about anything else." Do you understand how incredibly selfish that is? Do you understand why something like that isn't tolerated in a collaborative website like Wikipedia?
You cannot keep creating new accounts and editing anonymously as an IP. It's incredibly obvious when you do so. You really need to work on getting your original account unblocked, but to be very honest, your actions have made that impossible right now. When you ignore the rules, there are consequences. You really need to read the Standard Offer which requires AT LEAST six months of no editing (not even anonymously as an IP) before anything is considered. That doesn't mean an admin would unblocked you, only that it would be considered. Continuing as you are make that more and more unlikely. Please, think on what you are doing, reflect on the issues that have been raised and do the right thing. Ravensfire (talk) 14:08, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
