This is my talk page. I archive frequently, using an old-fashioned cut-and-paste method. If a discussion is over, I'll move it off of this page to keep things neat and tidy. However, if you think I've been presumptuous, just start a new thread below. No worries and thanks.

I hope it's ok...

[edit]

Hi, first I want to thank you for your comments you've made. Second, you've been misspelling my name so I have been changing it because it's a pet peeve of mine. Please don't fret about it as it happens quite frequently. I just want to bring it to your attentions that I have been doing this. No big deal though, at least with me and I'm pretty sure not with you. You are doing good work at the Tareq Salahi article. Keep up the good work. I made another comment there after you that you might want to take a look at. Again, don't worry about mispelling my name. To be honest, I had never heard of Crohn's disease until I got diagnosed with surgery. I kept spelling it like you would chronic which to me make sense until I learned the disease was named after Crohn. :) Take care and I hope we run into each other at more articles. You are a joy to edit with and I say that not because you agreed with me. I say that because you are nice when commenting, Have a good day and be well, --CrohnieGalTalk 19:06, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's more than o.k. I also want to thank you for your comments. You're a pleasure to work with. Thanks for bringing the spelling of your Username it to my attention; it's what I would have done. I was just typing too fast and parsing the word phonetically in my head...not enough connection between the keyboard and my brain. I'm really sorry about the misspelling. This may make you laugh...it's supremely ironic, because I, too suffer from Crohn's Disease, and another related arthritic disorder called ankylosing spondylitis, so I've felt a bit of a kinship with you from reading your Userpage. You mentioned you need to take strong pain medications, as do I, and that's another area of my interest on WP. So, I am truly, truly sorry about the misspelling, and am kicking myself for it! I will be more careful and type more slowly in the future to ensure I get "CrohnieGal" spelled correctly. I'm going to put a Talkback bar on your Talk page b/c I want you to know how sorry I am for the misspelling! Take care. Saebvn (talk) 19:33, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said don't beat yourself up over it, it's not a big deal really just a pet peeve that I have to correct. I didn't realize you had Crohn's disease too. I'm really sorry to hear this. I hope you aren't a young person. I got diagnosed by emergency exploritary surgert in 2001. I went into that surgery weighting about 75 pounds so the doctor didn't think I'd be walking out but I did on day 8 to his amazement. I had surgery on my spine in 2009. I too have been diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis among other things Crohn's related. My body just constantly attacks itself. All I can do is try to do the best I can. I put my history on my user page so editors would understand that if I make mistakes there is a good chance it's do to my drug use, legal pain meds prsecribed for me. I find that helping other esp. when I don't feel well helps me out a lot, I guess it's kind of like therapy for me. :) I hope you are at least in remission. I was in remission once for about 8 wonderful months. The bam, I need surgery again. The disease stinks but hey, we're still alive so that it good. If you ever want to chat my email is active. Please4 don't hesitate, --CrohnieGalTalk 21:04, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Did see it but have not had time to get back there yet. Will get back to the Article's talk page eventually... Thanks. Saebvn (talk) 22:42, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
