Manual of Style

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Nurjahan Begum (banker), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 06:52, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Grammatical error fix"

[edit]

Hi SabujHossainBD001, you have made a lot of edits with the edit summary "Grammatical error fix". Unfortunately, many of the changes you have made in these edits are incorrect, and most of the others are changes from one correct version to another correct version, hence not improvements. None of the changes are grammar error fixes. This edit is a case in point – many many minor changes but none of them is actually an improvement, and none has to do with grammar. Please be more careful with your editing. Thank you! --bonadea contributions talk 17:25, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice. i will be more careful in the future. SabujHossainBD001 (talk) 07:57, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Sir,
I have fixed many problems on Sultana Yesmin Layla's page. I have added the source correctly now. Can you or we remove the cleanup tag now? I think we can remove the tag because now it looks good.
Happy Editing!
Thanks. SabujHossainBD001 (talk) 09:11, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, there have been multiple new edits from your account that added grammar or spelling errors, or even introduced factual errors by changing the text slightly. Could you explain why you decided on each of the changes in this edit? To me, it looks like it might have been caused by running an automated spelling or grammar checker on the text, but I might be wrong about that. --bonadea contributions talk 08:16, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you think wrong.
I just read the article, and I see they have some problems, so I try to fix it.
No, I am not using any automatic apps or something like that. SabujHossainBD001 (talk) 10:02, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
Yamin is one of the people who died during the anti-quota movement in Bangladesh in 2024. There are many news stories about him on the internet; please check again. And I think his page deserves to be on Wikipedia. This English page of his has been translated into English from the Bengali Wikipedia page. You will find a lot of news about him on Google, and I have added some new ones to his Wikipedia. If you still think his page should be deleted, I would like to know why you think it should be deleted. Thank you SabujHossainBD001 (talk) 08:23, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
