Hello SUPER7X,

I'm slightly confused with where you get your information, I would appreciate it if you would share where you source your information and your view on whether the titles should be English version or Japaneses version.

i get my information from MAL: https://myanimelist.net/search/all?q=to%20love%20ru

if you think I'm wrong and have a reasonable point in the content of this page, i am more than welcome to comply.

Thank you

Edit: I slightly edited your formatting to make the page work better. --SUPER7X (talk) 08:53, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, as far as I know, I don't think I've actually edited the titles of the episodes, but I have been doing a lot of other stuff on the page, so I may have by mistake. To answer your question, I would say that the titles should be in both English and Japanese (and romaji for that matter). I'm looking at the page now, and while the formatting is extremely inconsistent, the only section that's actually missing all 3 titles (English, Japanese, romaji) is the To Love Ru Darkness OVAs section. If this was me and I somehow accidentally removed the Japanese and romaji titles, then I will absolutely work to re-add them. I may do so anyway in the coming days, though. As for what source is the best, for English titles that would absolutely be the official Sentai Filmworks Blu-rays, but that doesn't cover OVAs or Japanese titles. For them, I'm sure MAL is a perfectly fine source. I don;t know where you would find Japanese titles that MAL doesn't have, though. Just a note: technically speaking, there are no actual official English titles for OVAs, as they haven't been licensed, so those titles would be unofficial technically. Although, some anime pull titles from their corresponding manga chapters, and you could then determine the "official" titles in a sort of round-about way. I haven't checked to see if this would work for To Love Ru, though.

Separately from that, I've been trying to get all To Love Ru-related Wikipedia pages to be renamed or "moved" to call the series "To Love Ru" without the hyphen instead of "To Love-Ru" with the hyphen because the official English title is in fact "To Love Ru" without the hyphen. Both the anime and the manga have been officially licensed in English by Sentai Filmworks and Seven Seas, respectively, and they both officially call it "To Love Ru". Additionally, both Crunchyroll and Anime News Network have acknowledged the official English title. You're one of the few active editors, so Would you support this change? I'm really trying to make it happen because I think it's the right one.
