Reese Roper

[edit]

Welcome. I see that you have made a request to change the article on Reese Roper and that you claim to be Reese Roper. Because you used this account back in 2008, you will become autoconfirmed after another two edits and can make those changes yourself. Merely reply to this post twice and you're there. The tough part is your potential conflict of interest editing that page after you become autoconfirmed. COI editing is not against the rules, but it is strongly discouraged. It is difficult to stay neutral and to act in the best interest of Wikipedia when you have a conflict like this. I suggest you read the page I linked carefully so that you know how to avoid trouble if you decide to edit despite the conflict. The gist, though, is that you need to have a reliable source for everything you add (personal recollections are not verifiable and can't be used) and you need to be seen to be neutral, you can't remove derogatory content or inflate praise. Oh, and you may want to file a OTRS ticket to prove you are who you claim to be. Good luck, Celestra (talk) 21:28, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Jumanji has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Calmer Waters 21:35, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to Reese Roper constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to remove content from articles without explanation. Thank you. 5 albert square (talk) 22:00, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can I ask why you keep adding your signature in infoboxes? --5 albert square (talk) 00:09, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as the edit you made to Reese Roper. This is a simple mistake to make and is easy to correct. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. 5 albert square (talk) 00:43, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
