Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, SPStech, may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because Please see WP:ORGNAME. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. Bidgee (talk) 10:54, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am a naval radar technician. Under the military electronics designation system, "SPS" denotes - surface ship mounted search radar. This name represents myself. It is not an organisation or company name.

Problem is it can also mean SPS Technologies which is what I picked up on. Bidgee (talk) 09:55, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lucky for me. I got in first!

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, SPStech, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 18:08, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I told you moron fuckwits that my user name was not related to an organisation or company name. It represents myself as an individual. I don't give a fuck about you or your useless fucking wiki. You can go and fuck your hat.

Decline reason:

An odd glitch in the wiki software makes it impossible to unblock when the unblock request includes personal attacks. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do for you based on this request. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 10:38, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Suck my dick, you Nazi cunts.

Decline reason:

Interesting trivia: Mike Godwin (of Godwin's Law is the legal counsel for Wikimedia. Also, talk page access revoked. Syrthiss (talk) 11:26, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is your final opportunity to keep this talk page functional. You may not remove unblock requests from your talk page while you are still requesting unblock. No one will unblock you until you stop making personal attacks. And if you continue removing unblock requests, or continue making personal attacks, we will disable your talk page. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 11:25, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have protected this page against editing by anyone other than administrators. This will be good news to you, as it will save you the trouble of repeatedly creating sockpuppet accounts in order to evade your block on editing this page. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:09, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
