JFK again & again & again...

[edit]

see: Talk:State funeral of John F. Kennedy --JimWae 19:28, 2005 July 17 (UTC) Why do you switch between SNIyer1 & SNIyer12?--JimWae 19:28, 2005 July 17 (UTC)

Given your repeated insertionis of POV drivel that tells people how they feel, your lack of edit summaries, and lack of response to talk pages, I will be reporting you as a vandal the next time you make anything like either of these 2 insertions http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=State_funeral_of_John_F._Kennedy&diff=19031598&oldid=19031459 --JimWae 19:28, 2005 July 17 (UTC)

3RR

[edit]

Hi SN, you've been reported for a violation of the three revert rule at State_funeral_of_John_F._Kennedy. This says we're not allowed to revert to a previous version of an article more than three times within 24 hours, and if we do, we may be blocked for up to 24 hours. I'm leaving this warning instead of blocking, but perhaps in future you could discuss your edits with Jim on the article talk page? He's a very reasonable editor and I'm sure he'd be happy to reach a compromise with you. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk) 23:44, July 17, 2005 (UTC)

POV policy

[edit]

SNlyer1, are you aware of Wikipedia's POV policy? Your continued assertions of NPOV material into articles is troubling, but argubly even more so is your refusal to discuss these changes with any other users. I hope you reconsider this technique before you are labeled a vandal and are consequently banned from posting as a result. Moncrief 04:22, July 18, 2005 (UTC)

RFC on your conduct

[edit]

No offensive, but you seem to be causing a lot of problems and are not repsonding to any inquiries on your user page. To that end, I have started a reuqest for comment on your conduct. Please visit: Wikipedia:Requests for comment/SNIyer1. You have a lot to offer, but have been engaging in POV edits and revert wars for months. Its time to stop. -Husnock 06:19, 20 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

An image or media file you uploaded, Image:JacquelineKennedyHoldingHerChildren.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

State funeral of John F. Kennedy

[edit]

I see you are actively editing State funeral of John F. Kennedy again. I also see that you are engaging in some of the behaviors that were raised in the Wikipedia:Requests for comment/SNIyer1, inclusing failure to explain your edits and making major changes to the article. Can you tell me that you have accepted the RfC's responses? Otherwise it might be best for me to revert your unexplained, unsourced changes. -Will Beback 23:33, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Again I ask, why are you making these edits, and do you acknowledge the previous RfC on your behavior? -Will Beback 22:23, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:HallOfHonour.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -SCEhardT 00:18, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
