GAN
Thanks for reviewing The Boys from Baghdad High. User:Collectonian has hacked about 2000 bytes from the synopsis section. Please let me know if you require more removing. It looks a lot clearer now so I may be able to take a bit more out, but I won't be online again until Saturday. Best, Matthewedwards : Chat 04:59, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will have a look at it and reply on the article's GA page. -- S Masters (talk) 06:01, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
The First Flight
Hi. I don't mean to critique after the fact but I wanted to ask why you didn't at least point out that the article is practically an assotion of quotes. At least to me it seems almost like an issue of close paraphrasing. Again, no offense, just wondering. Best Hekerui (talk) 10:28, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- Don't worry, no offense taken. I have replied on your talk page. -- S Masters (talk) 11:40, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
Mahamuni Temple
Hi. I've (we've) improved the article, addressing many of the problems you identified and also made it more comprehensive. A number of citations hopefully will be added later. If there is anything aside from those citations which you think is still problematic please specify. Thanks. Dr. Blofeld White cat 15:02, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
The two missing refs have been added. Dr. Blofeld White cat 12:34, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

- OMG, thanks for the barnstar. --Legolas (talk2me) 04:04, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Thank you very much for upgrading the article to GA.--Nvvchar (talk) 14:23, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for all your hard work. Well done! -- S Masters (talk) 14:25, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! This means a lot to me personally as it is our first formally recnognized article on Burma on here. Given the political situation I'm sure you appreciate that often good articles are difficult to write. Plenty of aources in this case though. Thanks!! Dr. Blofeld White cat 14:33, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the Barnstar. My special interest in Burma dates to the early 1970s and I have seen many of the outstanding Buddhist Pagodas of Therrawada Buddhism in that country. I have two more DYK which I will be psoting for GAN soon. Thanks once again--Nvvchar (talk) 16:44, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh thankyou!! Well that's very welcome!! Dr. Blofeld White cat 17:22, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
GAN backlog elimination drive - 1 week to go
First off, on behalf of myself and my co-coordinator Wizardman, I would like to thank you for the efforts that you have made so far in this GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a success, and that is thanks to you. See this Signpost article about what this drive has achieved so far.
We're currently heading into the final week of the drive. At this time, if you have any GANs on review or on hold, you should be finishing off those reviews. Right now, we have more GANs on review or on hold than we do unreviewed. If you're going to start a GA review, please do so now so you can complete it by the end of the month and so that the nominator has a full 7-day window to address any concerns. See you at the finish! |

GOCE Reward Board Quest - Stage 3
I have completed Stage 3 of your Reward Board challenge with Big Man on Hippocampus, SMS Habsburg, SMS Árpád, and SMS Babenberg. This challenge really got me motivated. I'm participating in the backlog elimination drive next month. NielsenGW (talk) 21:50, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent work as always. Well done! Thanks for participating in my challenge. I'm happy that you will be in the drive. See you there! :-) -- S Masters (talk) 05:04, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

Copy Editor's Barnstar | ||
I award you this Copy Editor's Barnstar for insisting on clear, comprehensible, and grammatically correct articles. I hereby award this barnstar to SMasters for the copy-edit of DRMC, which greatly contributed to the promotion of the article to a GA.-Tanweer (talk) 04:57, 24 April 2010 (UTC) |
- Thank you so much! And congratulations on the GA. I know you worked really hard on it. Well done! -- S Masters (talk) 05:02, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
- Welcome and thank you too :-). It would be really impossible to take the article into GA without your assistance. -- Tanweer (talk) 05:35, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Yeah I've spotted your work. Excellent work on Pichilemu BTW. If only all of Chilean articles were of a similar quality. Dr. Blofeld White cat 17:52, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for the barnstar. I've never got a railway barnstar before, so it is most appreciated, especially given my fascination of all things on rails :) Arsenikk (talk) 11:29, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I noticed, and you're very welcome. It's well deserved. :-) -- S Masters (talk) 11:34, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
