Date formatting for opera articles

[edit]

Thanks for catching the strange duplicate "17" in the roles table.

I'd just point out that this article falls under Wikipedia:Wiki Project Opera guidelines where the d-m-y format is employed throughout all except some North American subjects. You can find details here: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Opera/Article_styles_and_formats. Viva-Verdi (talk) 16:47, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the heads up, much appreciated. Point well noted and appreciated. SMGeorge34 (talk) 03:50, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Hi SMGeorge34, thank you for your hard work! I just wanted to give you a heads-up: a few of the links you have added as references are in fact not appropriate, for several reasons. It is important that the reference actually supports the text in the article, and e.g. the linkeddominator.com reference added in this edit does not support the text in the article at all. (The rest of your edit there is unproblematic, I refer only to the addition of a link to that domain as a reference.) In addition, the links in question are inappropriate per Wikipedia's external links policy. In addition to linkeddominator.com, the references using seofortlauderdale.org and marketmongoose.com have been reverted. If you feel that these websites are in fact reliable sources, you are welcome to discuss this on the reliable sources noticeboard, where many different editors provide their input on whether specific domains are useful sources. Thank you! --bonadea contributions talk 14:43, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
